Tutuka is a community near Obuasi in the Obuasi East District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. [1] [2]
Adansi is a subgroup of the Akan ethnicity inhabiting the Ashanti Region of Ghana. An Adansihene is still designated. The Adansi has seven paramountcies: the capital, Fomena, New Edubiase, Ayaase, Akrokyere (Akrokerri), Akrofuom, Bodwesango and, Dompoase.
Obuasi is a gold mining town and is the capital of the Obuasi Municipal District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. It lies in the southern part of the Obuasi Municipal and is located about 39 mi (63 km) from Kumasi. As of 2012, the town has a population of 175,043 people. The current mayor of the town is Hon. Elijah Adansi-Bonah.

Obuasi Municipal Assembly is one of the forty-three districts in Ashanti Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Adansi West District in 1988, until part of the district was split off to create Obuasi Municipal District on 15 December 2003 ; whose remaining parts had been absorbed into parts of Adansi North District and Adansi South District respectively. Later, the eastern part of the district was split off to create Obuasi East District on 15 March 2018; thus the remaining part has been retained as Obuasi Municipal Assembly. The municipality is the southern part of Ashanti Region and has Obuasi as its capital town.

The Obuasi Constituency was a constituency in the Obuasi Municipal District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. In 2003, the Electoral Commission of Ghana, created 30 new constituencies in the country by dividing certain already existing ones. With the Obuasi constituency, it was split into the Obuasi and Akrofuom with Obuasi and Akrofuom as their headquarters. The Obuasi constituency was further split in 2011 into the Obuasi West and Obuasi East constituencies.

Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is a Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist. He is known by his stage name Shatta Wale, formerly Bandana. Shatta Wale changed his name to "Bandana'' after senior high school and released the hit track "Bandana from Ghana". The song made tremendous air waves in the Ghanaian music industry in 2004. Shatta Wale's sudden rise to the occasion happen in 2013 VGMA awards when he threw lyrical insults to VGMA now Telecel Ghana Music Awards ( TGMA)". because he proclaimed they robbed him of the Dancehall artist of the year to a female Dancehall artist "Kaakie". Even though the song had vulgar lyrics, it was so anticipated by the media which created his musical breakthrough.
Obuasi Senior High Technical School is a co-educational second-cycle public high school institution in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The school is located in between the two towns, Gausu and Koffikrom. Established by Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in 1965 as Government Secondary Technical School, which was an all boys institution offering Science and Technical Programs only, the first of its kind in the northern sector of Ghana. In 1990, Obuasi Secondary Technical School was converted into a mixed sex school to aid the "more girls in science" campaign by the government of Ghana.
Mary Grant was a Ghanaian physician and politician. She was Ghana's first Council of State member and also the first Wesley Girls High School alumna to be a medical doctor. Grant was the third Ghanaian woman to qualify in medicine after Susan Ofori-Atta (1947) and Matilda J. Clerk (1949). She was a relation of Paa Grant, who has been called "the father of Gold Coast politics".

Tutuka is farming community near Kenyase Number 2 in the Asutifi North District of the Ahafo Region of Ghana. As at 2023, the Odikuro of the town is Nana Kyei Bonsu Ampemansan.
