Tyce Thompson (born July 12, 1999) is an American professional ice hockey center for the Bridgeport Islanders of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected 96th overall, in the fourth round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils.
Tyce Thompson attended the prestigious Salisbury School and won two New England Championships, afterwards he continued his successes at Providence College. Tyce was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 4th round (96th overall) in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
On March 24, 2021, Thompson concluded his collegiate career after his junior season and signed his first professional deal and immediately was added to the Devils roster on a two-year, entry-level contract. [2] On April 6, Thompson made his professional and NHL debut, playing against his brother Tage, to register his first career assist and point in a 5–3 loss to the Buffalo Sabres. [3] [4]
Thompson was traded to the New York Islanders on November 26, 2023, in exchange for Arnaud Durandeau. [5]
His father is former NHL player Brent Thompson, who serves as an assistant coach for the Anaheim Ducks. [6] His brother Tage Thompson plays in the NHL with the Buffalo Sabres.

Eric Boulton is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger. Boulton was drafted 234th overall in the ninth round of the 1994 draft by the New York Rangers. While he never played for the Rangers, he played for the Buffalo Sabres, Atlanta Thrashers, New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders between 2000 and 2016. Boulton was best known for his role as an enforcer.
