Tyler Chapa (born March 6, 1994) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Waldorf University, a position he has held since 2023. [1] [2] [3] He also coached for Doane. He played college football for Abilene Christian and Doane as a defensive back. [4] [5] [6]
On October 3, 2014, Chapa was arrested and charged with assault by choking following an incident with his girlfriend. [6]

The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Member institutions are located in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. The conference was founded in 1969 as the Nebraska Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (NIAC), later becoming the Nebraska–Iowa Athletic Conference (1992) before being renamed the Great Plains Athletic Conference (2000).
Victor Duane Payne Jr. was an American college basketball and college football coach. He was the head football coach at Abilene Christian College and Simmons University. Payne was also the basketball head coach at Texas Technological College—now known as Texas Tech University.
Wallace Bullington, known as Coach Bully, was an American football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He served Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas for 39 years as football player, assistant football coach, head football coach and athletic director before he retired from the university's athletic staff in 1988, but not before leading the school to its first national championship in 1973.
John D. Payne was an American collegiate and professional football coach. He served as head coach for the Saskatchewan Roughriders (1973–1976), Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1978–1980) and Ottawa Rough Riders (1996) of the Canadian Football League (CFL), compiling a career record of 62–63–3. Payne also was the head football coach at Abilene Christian University from 1985 to 1990, posting a mark of 26–34–2.
Johnny Otis Knox II is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver for three seasons with the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Abilene Christian University. He was selected by Bears as the 140th overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft. Knox's career abruptly ended after sustaining a severe spinal injury in 2011. When it became apparent he would never be cleared to play again, he retired in 2013. Knox was also a coaching intern for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2015.

Lance Leipold is an American college football coach who is the head football coach at the University of Kansas, a position he has held since 2021. He was the head football coach at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater from 2007 to 2014 and the University at Buffalo from 2015 to 2020. During his tenure at Wisconsin–Whitewater, the team won six NCAA Division III Football Championships: 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2014 and were runners-up in 2008. During his time at Wisconsin-Whitewater, Leipold led the Warhawks to 5 undefeated seasons.
Adam Dorrel is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head football coach for the University of Central Oklahoma, a position he has held since 2022. Previously Dorrel was the head coach at Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Missouri from 2011 to 2016, and Abilene Christian in Abilene, Texas, from 2017 to 2021. While at Northwest Missouri State he led the program to three undefeated seasons and the NCAA Division II Football Championship in 2013, 2015, and 2016.
Christopher Michael Beard is an American basketball coach who is the head men's coach at the University of Mississippi. He also previously served as head coach at Texas, Texas Tech, Little Rock, Angelo State, and McMurry. Beard graduated from high school from McCullough High School in The Woodlands, Texas. He was a manager at Texas under former Longhorns coach Tom Penders, graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology. He received a Masters of Education from Abilene Christian University where he served as a graduate assistant in 1998.
Kenneth Layne Collums is an American college football coach and former player. He is the offensive coordinator and quarterback coach at the University of Central Arkansas, a position he has held since 2018. Collums served as the head football coach at Abilene Christian University from 2012 to 2016, compiling a record of 24–32. Prior to his promotion to head coach, for seven seasons he was the Wildcats' offensive coordinator. As a student-athlete, Collums was a four-year starting quarterback for the Central Arkansas, leading the Bears to the NAIA Division I Football Championship in 1991.
Joshua Lamberson is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head football coach for the University of Central Missouri, a position he has held since 2022. He was previously the assistant head football coach and offensive coordinator at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. Prior to taking this position on December 21, 2016, he served as the head football coach at the University of Nebraska at Kearney in Kearney, Nebraska. Lamberson was announced as the new head coach on December 14, 2014, replacing Darrell Morris. Before becoming head coach at UNK, Lamberson served as the offensive coordinator at Central Missouri from 2010 to 2014. He served as a graduate assistant at Northwest Missouri State from 2006 to 2008, and as the offensive coordinator and recruiting coach at Southeastern Oklahoma State from 2008 to 2010.

The 1951 Hardin–Simmons Cowboys football team was an American football team that represented Hardin–Simmons University in the Border Conference during the 1951 college football season. In its eighth and final season under head coach Warren B. Woodson, the team compiled a 6–6 record, tied for second place in the conference, and outscored opponents by a total of 272 to 216. The team was ranked at No. 78 in the 1951 Litkenhous Ratings.

Led by second-year head coach Keith Patterson, the Wildcats played home games at Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium in Abilene, Texas.

He also coached for Belhaven, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Stetson, Pearl River Community College, UNC Pembroke, Hocking College, and Hilbert. He played college football for Belhaven as a defensive end.
