Tyler Edey (born February 29, 1980) [1] is a Canadian pocket billiards player. [2] He reached the first place at the 8-Ball Championship. [3] During the 2006 WPA Men's World Nine-ball Championship he survived the group stages, the round of 64 and the round of 32, [4] but was eliminated in the round of 16 by Liu Cheng-chuan. This performance secured him a spot in the 2007 edition of the tournament.[ citation needed ]
In the US Open Tyler Edey reached the 13th place in 2004. In 2006, he lost in the Nine-ball [5] [6] World Cup only in the second round against the Taiwanese Liu Cheng-chuan. In 2007 he retired in the preliminary round.
Tyler Edey took the first place in the 8-Ball Champiomship. "I am a better player this year. I've lost so much. I don't want to come in second anymore," said an overjoyed Edey. [3]
Previously he had lost World Cup of Masters in the round of 16 against Wu Chia-ching. In 2008 Edey reached the 19th place at the Derby City Classic in 9-Ball. He finished fifth in the Predator International Championship, and in the sixteenth finals of the 10-Ball World Cup he was eliminated by the Chinese Liu Haitao. He finished seventeenth in the US Open in 2008. In 2009 he lost in the second round against the Philippines Dennis Orcollo, at the 10-Ball World Cup, he did not get beyond the preliminary round. At the World Pool Masters 2010 he also retired in the preliminary round.
Edey represented Canada three times at the World Cup of Pool. In 2006 and 2008 he reached the round of 16 with Luc Salvas and Edwin Montal, in 2009 he left with Jason Klatt in the first round.
Edey was also a player of the Canadian team at the 2010 World Billiards Championship; in the third losers round against Denmark he was eliminated.
Efren "Bata" Manalang Reyes is a Filipino professional pool player. A winner of over 70 international titles, Reyes was the first player to win the WPA World Championships in two different pool disciplines. Among his numerous titles, Reyes is a four-time World Eight-ball champion, the Matchroom Sport 1999 World Professional Pool Championship winner, a three-time U.S. Open winner, a two-time World Pool League winner, and a 14-time Derby City Classic winner. Reyes also represented the Philippines at the World Cup of Pool, winning the event with his partner Francisco Bustamante in 2006 and 2009. By defeating American player Earl Strickland in the inaugural Color of Money event in 1997, Reyes took home the largest single match purse in pool history of $100,000. Many analysts, fans, and players consider Reyes to be the greatest pool player of all time.

Corey Deuel is an American professional pocket billiards (pool) player from West Jefferson, Ohio. Nicknamed "Prince of Pool", he won the US Open Nine-ball Championship in 2001, and has won many other major titles. In January 2008, he was ranked the second highest US pool player by the United States Professional Poolplayers Association. He regularly represents the US in the Mosconi Cup. In 2010, he again was selected for the US team in the Mosconi Cup and was responsible for winning 2 of the US team's 8 points in the event. His tournament walk-on music is “Disco Inferno” by The Trammps.
Niels Feijen is a Dutch professional pool player, from the Hague. His nickname is "the Terminator". In 2014 he won the WPA World 9-ball championship.
Alejandro Salvador "Alex" Pagulayan is a Filipino Canadian professional pool and snooker player. His nicknames are "the Lion" and "the Killer Pixie". This latter nickname was given by the great Cliff Thorburn, former World and Canadian Snooker champion. Alex has a third, more recent nickname of "Mungo" given to him by Rick McCallum, former Wayne State University Pocket Billiard instructor and friend from the Hall of Fame Billiard room in Warren, Michigan. Alex was born in Cabagan, Isabela, Philippines and was raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In 2004, Pagulayan returned to the Philippines, and is a dual citizen of Canada and the Philippines.
David Alcaide Bermúdez is a Spanish pool player. He is a two-time winner of the World Pool Masters, winning the 2017 event, defeating Jayson Shaw 8–7 in the final, and again in 2019 defeating Alexander Kazakis 9–8. Alcaide is a three-time world championship semi-finalist having reached the stage at the WPA World 10-ball Championship, in 2009 and 2015, and the WPA World Eight-ball Championship in 2011.
Mika Immonen is a Finnish professional Hall of Fame pool player, nicknamed "The Iceman."
Oliver Ortmann is a German professional pool player from Gelsenkirchen. Ortmann is a three-time world champion, winning the 1995 WPA World Nine-ball Championship and both the 2007 and 2010 Straight pool world championships. Ortmann is the second player to win three world championships. With fourteen wins, he is one of the most successful players at the European Pool Championships. Ortmann is the second to Ralf Souquet on the Euro Tour, winning fourteen events. Ortmann was the first player from Europe to win the U.S. Open Straight Pool Championship, in 1989.
The 2006 World Cup of Pool was a professional nine-ball pool competition, the first World Cup of Pool, a scotch doubles knockout championship representing 32 national teams. The event was held at the Newport Centre in Newport, Wales, from 22 to 27 August 2006. The event was held as a single-elimination tournament, for a total prize fund of $250,000 with $60,000 being awarded to the winner. The tournament was organised by Matchroom Sport, sponsored by poker website Partypoker, and broadcast on Sky TV.

The WPA 9-Ball World Cup 2003 was the 14th edition of the WPA World Championship for 9-Ball Pool. It took place from July 12 to 20, 2003 in Cardiff, Wales.
The 2018 WPA 9-Ball-World Championship was a 9-Ball pool world Championships. The event took place between December 10 to 20, 2018 in the al-Attiya Sports Arena of the Al-Arabi Sports Club in Doha, Qatar. The Qatari capital held the event for the eighth time in a row.

Chang Pei-Wei is a Taiwanese pool and card player. Chang was the runner up at the 2004 WPA World Nine-ball Championship and won the gold medal at the World Games 2005.

Tkach is a four time European champion having won the eight-ball event in 2016 and 2019, as well as Straight pool in 2017 and 2019. In addition, she is a nine-time Junior European Champion.
Mario Morra is a Canadian professional pool player and former professional snooker player. He reached the tournament finals of the 1984 Canadian Professional Championship, the 2008 Canadian Open nine-ball championship, and the 2010 Canadian Open ten-ball championship.
