Tyrone Lyndon Powell (born 17 June 1953) is a former Welsh cricketer. Powell was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break. He was born at Bargoed,Glamorgan.
It can be assumed Powell spent part of his life living in New Zealand,as his first-class debut came for New Zealand Under-23s against Otago in 1972. [1] Powell played no further first-class matches in New Zealand.
In 1976 he played a single first-class match for Glamorgan against the touring West Indians, [2] making a duck in both innings,being dismissed by Wayne Daniel in the first innings and Michael Holding in the Glamorgan second innings. [3]
Powell also played Minor Counties Championship cricket for Norfolk from 1982 to 1985,with his first match for the county coming against Hertfordshire and playing his final Minor Counties match for the county against Suffolk. [4]
Glenn Maitland Turner played cricket for New Zealand and was one of the country's best and most prolific batsmen. He is the current head of the New Zealand Cricket selection panel.

Grenville David "Gren" Alabaster is a New Zealand former first-class cricketer who played for Otago,Canterbury and Northern Districts between 1955 and 1976. A winner of the New Zealand Cricket Almanack Player of the Year Award in 1972,Alabaster was an all-rounder:a right-arm off-break bowler and left-handed batsman. He toured with New Zealand to Australia in 1973–74,but never played in a Test match. His brother Jack Alabaster played 21 Tests;the two brothers played together for Otago and Southland for many years.

William John Mitchell is a former New Zealand cricketer,who played first-class cricket for Northern Districts and Otago. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler,Mitchell played 14 first-class matches between 1964 and 1969,scoring 634 runs at 27.56 and taking one wicket.
Anthony Warren Short is a former New Zealand cricketer who played three first class cricket matches and a single one day match for Central Districts between 1978 and 1980. A right-handed batsman,he struggled at first-class level,scoring only 96 runs from five innings –largely in a career-best knock of 33.
