The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP)-National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) All-Star Game is an interleague basketball game between selected players of the UAAP and the NCAA. Several side events, such as the slam dunk contest, were held from 2004 onwards. Prior to 2004, it was an interleague tournament between the semifinalists of both leagues.

Contents

The proceeds of the games proceed to Bantay Bata, an ABS-CBN foundation for needy children.

The 2002 tournament had three stages: the elimination round was an inter-league affair, but the standings are based between teams of the same league. The top two teams advance to a single round-robin semifinals. The two best teams from the semifinals dispute the championship in a best of three series.

The 2003 tournament was a single-elimination tournament, with the seedings based on the final positions in their respective leagues. UAAP runner-up Ateneo didn't join, so they were replaced with 5th placer Adamson.

They are currently playing at the National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (NAASCU), after spending a leave of absence from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) basketball.

College basketball in the Philippines is fragmented; as of today there is no single governing body, with several leagues in Metro Manila and in the provinces. The University Athletic Association of the Philippines and National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) champions are considered to be the major champions, although several other leagues, claim their champions in equal standing with those of the UAAP and the NCAA.

Pangilinan as the keynote speaker. All subsequent elimination round games will be held at The Arena in San Juan. The theme of the season is "Soaring High at 83" while the Studio 23 coverage uses the theme "Brotherhood of the ball".

The basketball tournaments of National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) 84th season hosted by the Mapúa Institute of Technology began on June 28 at the Araneta Coliseum with Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Bayani Fernando as the keynote speaker. All subsequent elimination round games will be held at Cuneta Astrodome. The theme of the season is "To The Fore at 84".

The school rivalry between Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University began when both educational institutions participated in the National Collegiate Athletic Association of the Philippines (NCAA), and has carried over to the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) where both universities compete in currently. Prior to UAAP Season 84, the Ateneo men's varsity team was known as the Ateneo Blue Eagles, women's varsity team as the Ateneo Lady Eagles, and high school team as the Ateneo Blue Eaglets. In May 2022, Ateneo de Manila University decided to unify student athletes and varsity teams under the "Blue Eagles" moniker, regardless of sport, gender, or age group.

The basketball tournaments of NCAA Season 85 refers to the basketball events of the Philippine National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)'s 2009–10 season. This is the first season without the PCU Dolphins who have taken an indefinite leave of absence after several of their juniors' division players were found to have used falsified documents to enter the school. Also, three guest teams will take part in the basketball events with all three eligible to win championships.

The NCAA Season 82 basketball tournaments are the tournaments of the Philippines National Collegiate Athletic Association for basketball at the 2006–07 season. The tournaments are divided into two divisions: the Juniors tournament for male high school students, and the Seniors tournament for male college students.

The basketball tournaments of NCAA Season 91 were the Philippines' National Collegiate Athletic Association tournaments for the current season. The Mapua Institute of Technology hosted the season, started with an opening ceremony held on June 27, 2015, at the Mall of Asia Arena followed by a double-header. Games are expected to be followed at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan, with two seniors and juniors games. The seniors' games are aired live by ABS-CBN Sports and Action and in High Definition on Balls HD 167.

The 2016 basketball tournaments of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines), otherwise known as NCAA Season 92, officially opened on June 25, 2016 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay. The showdown between season hosts San Beda Red Lions and season 91 men's basketball champions Letran Knights will be the first game, while JRU Heavy Bombers will face Mapua Cardinals in the second game.

The 2017 basketball tournaments of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, otherwise known as the NCAA Season 93, which started on July 8, 2017 at Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay. Same as the last year's opener, the defending champions San Beda Red Lions will open their title defense bid as they will battle the season's hosts San Sebastian Stags at the first game, and at the second game the Arellano Chiefs will open their first season without Jiovani Jalalon as they take on the Mapúa Cardinals.

The basketball tournaments of National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines) 78th season hosted by San Beda College began on June 29, 2002 at the Araneta Coliseum with Philippine Sports Commission chairman Eric Buhain as the special guest, followed by the opening ceremonies, a ceremonial toss together with NCAA Policy Board president Fr. Anscar Chupungco, OSB, and a quadruple-header. Games then are subsequently held at Rizal Memorial Coliseum. This was the first season of ABS-CBN’s live coverage of the seniors’ games aired at Studio 23.
