1 News is the news division of New Zealand television network TVNZ. The service is broadcast live from TVNZ Centre in Auckland. The flagship news bulletin is the nightly 6 pm news hour, but 1 News also has midday and late night news bulletins, as well as current affairs shows such as Breakfast and Seven Sharp.
Paul Henry Hopes, known professionally as Paul Henry, is a New Zealand radio and television broadcaster who was the host of the late night show The Paul Henry Show on New Zealand's TV3 which ended December 2014 so that Henry could host a new cross platform three-hour breakfast show Monday to Friday on TV3, RadioLive and on line. Paul Henry launched on 7 April 2015 and initially had an audience larger than the two shows it replaced on radio and TV. For nine months in 2012, he also co-hosted an Australian television show, Breakfast, which ceased production on 30 November 2012, due to low ratings.
Hilary Ann Barry is a New Zealand journalist and television personality who currently co-hosts Seven Sharp with Jeremy Wells. She was a newsreader on TV3 for many years and until 2016, presented the 6 pm Newshub show with Mike McRoberts. She also worked on the Paul Henry morning TV show since its launch, reading the news. Barry resigned from these roles in April 2016.
Newshub is a New Zealand multi-platform news service that airs on TV channel Three, radio stations run by MediaWorks, and on digital platforms. The Newshub brand replaced 3 News service on the TV3 network and the Radio Live news service heard on MediaWorks Radio stations on 1 February 2016. In early 2020, MediaWorks sold Newshub to US multimedia company Discovery, Inc.
Sensing Murder is a television show in which three psychics are asked to act as psychic detectives to help provide evidence that might be useful in solving famous unsolved murder cases by communicating with the deceased victims. The program format was developed in 2002 by Nordisk Film TV in Denmark and has been sold to many countries including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Hungary, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and the US. In 2004, Granada Entertainment bought the US rights. The New Zealand series first aired in 2006 and was hosted by Rebecca Gibney. On 17 January 2017, it was announced that Amanda Billing would be the new host for the Australia/New Zealand version.

TVNZ 7 was a commercial-free New Zealand 24-hour news and information channel on Freeview digital television platform and on Sky Television from 1 July 2009. It was produced by Television New Zealand, which received Government funding to launch two additional channels. The channel went to air just after 10 am on 25 March 2008 with a looped preview reel. The channel was officially launched at noon on 30 March 2008 with a special "kingmaker" political debate held within the Parliament building and featuring most of the elected minor party leaders. The channel went off air at midnight on 30 June 2012 to the Goodnight Kiwi.
The Rob, Anybody, and Dawn Show is a syndicated morning radio show on KRXQ, formerly from Entercom's building in Sacramento, California and being rebroadcast on KDOT from Lotus' building in Reno, Nevada. Rob Williams and Dawn Rossi are the show hosts, with the "Anybody" being represented by the Production Team and the listeners. Arnie States is no longer associated with the show.
Studio 2 LIVE was a New Zealand children's television show. It was originally named Studio 2 up until 2010, when it was renamed Studio 2 LIVE. It premiered on 22 March 2004 after WNTV was cancelled. It screened weekdays 3:30–4:30 p.m. on TV2. The series ended on 1 October 2010.
Matthew Phillip "Matt" Gibb is a television presenter in Auckland, New Zealand. He is best known for presenting the children's television show Studio 2 from 2004 until 2010.
New Zealand's Got Talent is a New Zealand reality television show which premiered in 2008. The show is based on the Got Talent series. The show features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other variety performers of all ages competing for a top prize of $100,000 cash and a Toyota RAV4 car. Three judges appear on the show each week to provide feedback for the contestants.
M Countdown (Korean: 엠카운트다운) is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet. It airs live every Thursday with live streaming available internationally via M Countdown On Air on their website. The show features some of the latest and most popular artists who perform live on stage. It is broadcast from CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul.
U was an interactive youth-oriented New Zealand television channel, owned and operated by TVNZ. The channel launched on 13 March 2011, and featured reality programming, as well as an interactive live show and music content. It replaced the now defunct TVNZ 6. Leading up to the launch of U, there were 13 days' worth of promotional videos and programming information aired to advertise the new channel.
Toni Street is a New Zealand television presenter and sports commentator. She is best known for co-hosting the New Zealand current affairs programme Seven Sharp alongside Mike Hosking, as well as presenting morning shows and sports reporting for One News.
Seven Sharp is a half-hour-long New Zealand current affairs programme produced by Television New Zealand. The programme was created after the discontinuation of Close Up. It is broadcast live from the TVNZ studio it shares with 1 News in Auckland, at 7 pm every weekday on TVNZ 1. Seven Sharp typically presents 3 stories within a 30-minute timeslot every weeknight, and is designed to be more integrated with social media and real time opinions than its predecessor.

Best Bits is a New Zealand comedy show, where a panel of comedians comment on video clips taken from television during the week prior. It is produced by The Down Low Concept, and hosted by comedian Te Radar in the first series and ex-Seven Sharp presenter and comedian Jesse Mulligan in the second and third series.
Super Singer Junior – Ithu Thamizhagathin Chellakuralukkana Thedal – is a reality TV show since 2007 hosted by Vijay TV, a popular Tamil channel of the Star Network, and sponsored by Bharti Airtel. It is a singing talent hunt for the children of age group 6–14. This is the junior version of the Super Singer show, which premiered in 2006. Auditions are held in various parts of Tamil Nadu, India. The show attracts many kids from all over the state and rigorous multi-level selection procedures are done in order to select the contestants for the competition.
Survivor NZ was a New Zealand reality game show based on the international Survivor format. The series premiered on 7 May 2017 on the TVNZ 2, which also holds the broadcast rights to Australian Survivor. The show was renewed for a second season filmed in early 2018 and released on April 22.
