Washington, D.C., formally the District of Columbia, also known as Washington, the District, or D.C., is the capital city and federal district of the United States. Okigwe also boasts many relaxation spots such as Alexandra Suites & Hotels Limited Okigwe Imo state which is situated at No 1 Alexandra Ave, Umuchima Road, Ubahu. St. Mary's Cathedral in Okigwe is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Okigwe. In 2016, the Imo state government recommissioned a new cattle market in the city in respect to the previous one that has been relocated to Abia.

The Okoroji House Museum or Okoroji House,, is a historic house and museum located in Ujari, a village in Arochukwu, Abia State, Eastern Nigeria. The house was declared a national monument in 1972 by the National Commission for Museums and Monuments.
MaaziOkoroji Oti was a local chief in Ujari, one of the nineteen villages in Arochukwu, Abia State, Nigeria. He was reputable for being a slave merchant who built the Okoroji House, a historic house in Igboland. Oral history has it that four hundred people were sacrificed to Ibini Ukpabi after his death as the head of the oracle.

Okey Ogunjiofor is a Nigerian Nollywood producer and actor known for co-pioneering the Nigeria movie industry with his film Living in Bondage in 1992. In 2022, his film Amina won the 2022 AMVCA for Best overall movie award category and became the first Nigerian film to be named on a global top ten Netflix list.
