Ulf Hoffmann (born 8 September 1961) is a retired German gymnast. He missed the 1984 Summer Olympics due to their boycott by East Germany and took part in the Friendship Games instead, winning a silver medal in the team competition. He won another silver medal with the East German team at the 1988 Summer Olympics. His best individual result at those Games was 13th place on parallel bars. [1] He won three bronze medal at the world championships in 1985 and 1987 (team) [2] and European championships in 1985 (parallel bars). [3] After retiring he moved to Basel, Switzerland where he coaches female gymnasts.
Lutz Hoffmann was an East German gymnast and Olympic silver medalist.
Angelika Hellmann is a retired German gymnast. She competed at the 1972 and 1976 Summer Olympics in all artistic gymnastics events and won a silver and a bronze medal in the team competitions, respectively. Her best individual results were fifth place in the floor exercise in 1972 and on the balance beam in 1976. She won two more silver medals with the East German team, and an individual all-around bronze, at the world championships in 1970 and 1974. At the European championships, she won three medals in 1971 and 1973, in the vault and uneven bars.
Michael Nikolay is a retired German gymnast. He competed at the 1976 and 1980 Summer Olympics in all artistic gymnastics events and won a bronze and a silver medal with the East German team, respectively. Individually he won two bronze medals in the pommel horse at both Games; he also finished fourth on the horizontal bar and on the parallel bars in 1980.
Roland Brückner is a retired East German gymnast. He competed at the 1976 and 1980 Summer Olympics in all artistic gymnastics events and won a bronze and a silver medal in the team competition, respectively.
