Ultimate Spider-Man and X-Men was a Marvel UK comic book series published by Panini Comics every four weeks. The title reprinted one issue of Ultimate Spider-Man and one issue of Ultimate X-Men in each issue.
The title is a result of a merger of Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimate X-Men, two separate titles formerly published by Panini. The merger was a result of the two titles reprinting comics faster than they were being published in the United States. The title has also reprinted the Ultimate Nightmare mini-series. It ceased publication in early 2009 due to lack of sales.

Marvel Knights is an imprint of Marvel Comics that contained standalone material taking place inside the Marvel Universe (Earth-616). The imprint originated in 1998 when Marvel outsourced four titles to Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti's company Event Comics; Event hired the creative teams for the Knights line while Marvel published them.

Ultimate Marvel, later known as Ultimate Comics, was an imprint of comic books published by Marvel Comics, featuring re-imagined and modernized versions of the company's superhero characters from the Ultimate Marvel Universe. Chris Bachalo is a Canadian comic book illustrator known for his quirky, cartoon-like style. He became well known for stints on DC Comics' Shade, the Changing Man and Neil Gaiman's two Death series. Chris has also illustrated several of Marvel Comics' X-Men-related series, including Generation X, X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, and Ultimate X-Men. Beginning in April 2000 Chris illustrated his creator-owned series Steampunk.

Marvel Heroes Reborn was a British comic book series which was a part of the Marvel UK's 'Collector's Edition' line. It was published by Panini Comics and reprinted Marvel Comics from the United States. The title printed Fantastic Four, Iron Man, the Hulk, and before the series ended Avengers comics. This line began in September 1997, after Panini Comics had successfully published Astonishing Spider-Man, Essential X-Men and Wolverine Unleashed. The series ended in 2000 at #42, due to an "overcrowded market". The comic was initially priced at £1.99 when it was released, but over the years rose to £2.30. A year later Avengers United took its place on the shelves.
The Amazing Spider-Man is a daily comic strip featuring the character Spider-Man which has been syndicated for more than 40 years. It was a dramatic, soap opera-style strip with story arcs which typically ran for 8 to 12 weeks. While the strip used many of the same characters as the Spider-Man comic book, the storylines were nearly all originals and did not share the same continuity. A consistently popular strip, new material was published from 1977 to 2019, with the strip going into reruns afterwards.

Ultimate Comics: The Ultimates was a monthly comic book series published by Marvel Comics that made its debut in September 2011 as part of the second re-launch of Ultimate Marvel. Through the "Ultimate Universe Reborn" tagline following the "Death of Spider-Man" and written by Jonathan Hickman with art by Esad Ribic, the series also serves as a continuation of elements from Ultimate Comics: Fallout, and existed alongside other relaunched Ultimate Marvel titles including Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man and Ultimate Comics: X-Men. The series continued the adventures of the Ultimates, including Nick Fury, Thor and Iron Man.
