Javed Akhtar is an Indian political activist, poet, lyricist and screenwriter. He is originally from the Gwalior area. He is a recipient of the Padma Shri (1999), Padma Bhushan (2007), the Sahitya Akademi Award as well as five National Film Awards. In the early part of his career, he was a screenplay writer, creating films such as Deewar, Zanjeer and Sholay. Later, he left screenplay-writing and became a lyricist and social-political activist. He also remained a member of Rajya Sabha. In 2020, he received the Richard Dawkins Award for his contribution to secularism, free thinking, for critical thinking, holding religious dogma up to scrutiny, advancing human progress and humanist values. Javed Akhtar was chosen as a recipient for the Richard Dawkins Award for being "the bright light for reason, freethought, and atheism in a dark time".
Jāvēd Ahmed Ghāmidī is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, Quran scholar, Islamic modernist, exegete and educationist. He is also the founding President of Al-Mawrid Institute of Islamic Sciences and its sister organisation Danish Sara. He became a member of the Council of Islamic Ideology on 28 January 2006, where he remained for a couple of years. He also taught Islamic studies at the Civil Services Academy for more than a decade from 1979 to 1991. He was also a student of Islamic scholar and exegete, Amin Ahsan Islahi. He is running an intellectual movement similar to Wasatiyyah, on the popular electronic media of Pakistan. Currently he is Principal Research Fellow and Chief Patron of Ghamidi Center of Islamic Learning in United States. Javed Ahmad Ghamidi was named in The Muslim 500 in the 2019 and 2020 editions.

The team is coached by Aaqib Javed, a former Pakistani cricketer. Lahore Qalandars is owned by Rana brothers. Lahore Qalandars was the second-most expensive franchise, and one of the few teams sold to an international company. After making her acting debut with a minor role in the acclaimed television series Shehr-e-Zaat (2012), Javed had her first major role in the mega-hit drama Pyarey Afzal (2013) and received praise for playing an emotionally uninterested wife in the romance Zara Yaad Kar (2016). Her career advanced with starring roles in the romantic comedy film Mehrunisa V Lub U (2017) as well as the television series Khaani (2017), Romeo Weds Heer (2018), Ruswai (2019) and Dunk (2020). The first of these earned her a Lux Style Award for Best Television Actress nomination.

Romeo Weds Heer is a 2018 Pakistani drama serial, directed by Anjum Shahzad, written by Muhammad Younis Butt and produced by 7th Sky Productions. It stars Feroze Khan and Sana Javed in lead roles. The show was originally aired in single episodes on Sunday evenings, but towards the end of its run, it began to run episodes in a mega-episode format because of low ratings on Sunday evenings. It premiered on 21 October 2018 on Geo Entertainment. The series ended on 26 May 2019.
The 1985 Benson & Hedges World Championship of Cricket Final was a One Day International (ODI) match played on 10 March 1985 between India and Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne. Popularly known as World Championship of Cricket, this ODI tournament was held from 17 February to 10 March 1985 in Australia and it marked the culmination of the only World Championship of Cricket with India defeating Pakistan by 8 wickets.
