Joseph Henry Tiller was an American football offensive lineman and coach. He served as the head coach of the Calgary Stampeders as an interim head coach in 1976, University of Wyoming from 1991 to 1996, and Purdue University from 1997 to 2008, with a career record of 126–92–1 (.578). Tiller played college football at Montana State from 1960 to 1963 and in the Canadian Football League (CFL) a season in 1964. Tiller was known as one of the innovators of the spread offense.

Donald Eugene Nehlen is an American former college football player and coach. He was head football coach at Bowling Green State University (1968–1976) and at West Virginia University (1980–2000). Nehlen retired in 2001 with a career head coaching record of 202–128–8 and as the 17th-winningest coach in college football history. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2005 and has served as a president of the American Football Coaches Association.
Paul Brian McDonald is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys. He played college football for the USC Trojans, earning second-team All-American honors in 1979.
Donald E. Scott was a star of American football. He was a two-time All-American quarterback at Ohio State University. As a pilot Scott had already completed nine bombing missions during World War II, on October 1, 1943, while going through a special training exercise in England, Scott's bomber crashed, taking his life at just age 23.
Jeff Logan starred as a running back at Hoover High School in North Canton, Ohio establishing numerous scoring records. Logan went to Ohio State University in 1974 and played on 2 Big Ten Conference Championship football teams. Logan backed up two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin for two seasons and then started in 1976 and 1977, Co-Captain of the 1977 team. He was awarded All Big 10 first team and Academic All-American honors.
The 2005 Texas vs. Ohio State football game, played September 10, 2005, was the first-ever meeting between the University of Texas at Austin and Ohio State University in a college football game. The two teams came into the game ranked No. 2 and No. 4, respectively. It was the second game of the 2005 season for both teams. Schools had become increasingly conservative in scheduling non-conference opponents of a high caliber, so a meeting of two top-five teams in the country was unusual this early in the season. For either team, winning the game would boost their chances of ultimately playing in the BCS National Championship Game while the loser likely faced the end of their national championship hopes.
David Lambert Huffman was an American professional football player who was an offensive lineman for 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) and United States Football League (USFL) during the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. Huffman played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, winning a national championship with the team in 1977 and earning consensus All-American honors in 1978. He played professionally for the NFL's Minnesota Vikings and the Memphis Showboats of the USFL.
Vincent Stevenson was an American football player. He played college football for the Penn Quakers in 1904 and 1905. In 1904, he earned All-American honors from Walter Camp, after leading his team to a 12–0 record, in which the Quakers outscored their opponents 222–4.

The 1957 Auburn Tigers football team was an American football team that represented Auburn University in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 1957 college football season. In their seventh season under head coach Ralph "Shug" Jordan, the Tigers compiled a perfect 10–0 record, shut out six of ten opponents, won the SEC championship, and outscored all opponents by a total of 207 to 28.

His better known roles include Porter Scavo on the ABC television series Desperate Housewives (2008–2012), Ethan on the MTV television series Teen Wolf, Scott Frost on the first season of the HBO television series The Leftovers (2014), and as Cowboy in both The Boys in the Band on Broadway and the subsequent 2020 film of the same name. His identical twin brother Max Carver has frequently portrayed the twin of his characters.
The Case Western Reserve Spartans football team is the varsity intercollegiate football team representing the Case Western Reserve University, located in Cleveland, Ohio. They compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division III level and hold dual membership in both the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) and the University Athletic Association (UAA). They are coached by Greg Debeljak. Home games are played at DiSanto Field. The season began on August 31 and ended on November 25. The entire schedule was released on March 1. The Toledo Rockets won the conference championship game over the Akron Zips.
