Unicorse Team is a Hungarian auto racing team based in Tevel, Hungary. The team has raced in the TCR International Series, since 2017. [1] The team also races in the FIA Central European Zone Circuit Championship. Having previously raced in the European Touring Car Cup amongst others.

European Touring Car Cup

Having first entered the championship in 2012, running a single Alfa Romeo 156 S2000 for Ferenc Ficza for the first two rounds, before Csapa Gáspár took over the car for the third round of the championship. Ficza finished eighth in the drivers championship, with Gáspár finishing tenth in the standings. [2] They returned in 2013 again running an Alfa Romeo 156 S2000 for Slovak Filip Sládečka for two rounds, with Sládecka and the team battling with technical issues and only starting one out of four races. [3] In 2014 the team again entered their Alfa Romeo 156 S2000 for Norbert Kiss, with Kiss taking the teams first ETCC victory in the first race at the Automotodróm Slovakia Ring. For the championships fourth round 2013 driver Filip Sládečka joined them, replacing Kiss. Kiss finished seventh in the standings while Sládečka finished ninth. [4] [5]

TCR International Series

Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR (2017–)

After having raced in the FIA Central European Zone Circuit Championship, the team entered the 2017 TCR International Series with Márk Jedlóczky driving an Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR. [6] Jedlóczky qualified 21st and finished 16th in Race 1 before finishing 15th in Race 2.

Automotodróm Slovakia Ring is a 5.935 km (3.688 mi) motor racing circuit in Orechová Potôň, Dunajská Streda District in Slovakia, approximately 30 km (19 mi) away from Bratislava Airport. It was built between 2008 and 2009.

The 2012 FIA European Touring Car Cup is the eighth running of the FIA European Touring Car Cup. It will consist of four events in Italy, Slovakia and Austria. The events will consist of two races run over a distance of approximately 50 kilometres (31 mi) each. Ferenc Ficza Jr. is a Hungarian racing driver currently competing in the European Touring Car Cup. He previously competed in the TCR International Series and SEAT León Eurocup.

The 2016 FIA European Touring Car Cup was the twelfth running of the FIA European Touring Car Cup. It consisted of six events in France (twice), Slovakia, Germany, Portugal and Italy.

Romeo Ferraris is an Italian tuning and auto racing team based in Milan, Italy. The team has raced in the TCR International Series, since 2016, and in the FIA ETCR – eTouring Car World Cup, since 2021. Previously the team had raced in the Superstars Series and the Italian Touring Car Championship, amongst others.

Márk L. Jedlóczky is a Hungarian racing driver currently competing in the TCR International Series and FIA Central European Zone Circuit Championship. Having previously competed in the Hungarian FRT Series.

The 2018 FIA World Touring Car Cup was the inaugural season of the World Touring Car Cup (WTCR). It took over from the World Touring Car Championship and adopted the TCR technical regulations. It was also the 14th overall season of the series that dates from the 2005 World Touring Car Championship. The change of name and new rules follow the declining interest in the TC1 regulations used by the World Touring Car Championship between 2014 and 2017 and the growing interest among manufacturers in the TCR touring car category.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">TCR Touring Car</span> Touring car racing specification

A TCR Touring Car is a touring car specification, first introduced in 2014 and is now employed by a multitude of series worldwide. All TCR Touring Cars are front-wheel drive cars based on 4 or 5 door production vehicles, and are powered by 1.75 to 2.0 litre turbocharged engines. While the bodyshell and suspension layout of the production vehicle is retained in a TCR car, and many models use a production gearbox, certain accommodations are made for the stresses of the racetrack including upgraded brakes and aerodynamics. Competition vehicles are subject to Balance of Performance adjustments to ensure close racing between different vehicles.
