Clarion County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of the 2020 census, the population was 37,241. Its county seat is Clarion. The county was formed on March 11, 1839, from parts of Venango and Armstrong counties. Clarion County is entirely defined as part of the Pittsburgh media market.

Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21 (CLIU), located in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, Lehigh County USA, is one of twenty nine Intermediate Unit Educational Service Agencies created by an Act of the General Assembly of Pennsylvania in 1971. CLIU provides services to 14 public school districts, non-public schools in its service region and two Vocational-Technical schools in Carbon County and Lehigh County. The agency has no taxing power. Its revenues come from federal grants, state grants, private grants, annual payments from each public school district in its region and charges to individuals for some services like driver's education. The agency provides many services including specialized special education services and training for teachers to meet their state mandated continuing professional education with some offered online. CLIU21 also operates a Librarians' Consortium for librarians from public libraries, private libraries, school libraries and higher education librarians.

The Capital Area Intermediate Unit (CAIU) is an Intermediate Unit based in Summerdale, a suburb of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The administrative office is located at 55 Miller Street, Enola, East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. It serves a portion of central Pennsylvania counties, including: Cumberland County, Dauphin County, the northern portion of York County, and Perry County. CAIU15 offers services to: 24 school districts and 2 area vocational technical schools by providing programs and initiatives. It is also known by its IU number, IU No. 15. In addition to funding from local districts, CAIU applies for: private, state and federal grants. The CAIU 15 received more than $17.1 million from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in general operating funds in school year 2009–2010. From 2007 through 2011, Amy Morton was the Executive Director.

Allegheny-Clarion Valley Junior/Senior High School, or A-C Valley, is a rural, public high school near Foxburg, in southwestern Clarion County, Pennsylvania, United States. In 2012, the school had 368 students in grades 7th through 12th. and 40 staff Members in 2013.
Warrior Run High School is a small, rural public high school located in Turbotville, Pennsylvania. It is the sole high school operated by the Warrior Run School District. It serves the residents of the boroughs of Turbotville, McEwensville and Watsontown. It also serves Gregg Township in Union County, Delaware Township and Lewis Township in Northumberland County; as well as Anthony Township and Limestone Township in Montour County. In 2016, Warrior Run High School reported its enrollment was 479 pupils. Warrior Run High School students may choose to attend Lycoming Career and Technology Center for training in the building trades, automotive technology, culinary arts, allied health services and child care. The Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit CSIU16 provides the high school with a wide variety of services like specialized education for disabled students and hearing, speech and visual disability services and professional development for staff and faculty.

In the 2018–2019 school year, its enrollment was reported as 165 pupils, in 9th through 12th grades. The school serves the boroughs of Oswayo and Shinglehouse, as well as Clara Township, Sharon Township, and Oswayo Township. McKean County's Ceres Township is also within district's service boundaries.
