United Jharkhand Party, a political party in India. Founded in 1948 by Justin Richard. Jaipal Singh, a leader of the Adivasi Mahasabha, joined the party. Later Singh would launch the Jharkhand Party.
Another party with the same name appeared in Indian politics in 1991.

The Communist Party of India is the oldest communist political party in India, and one of the eight national parties in the country. The CPI was formed on 26 December 1925 at Kanpur.
The National Front was a coalition of political parties, led by the Janata Dal, which formed India's government between 1989 and 1990 under the leadership of N. T. Rama Rao as President and V. P. Singh as Convener. The coalition's prime minister was V. P. Singh. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is a state political party in the Indian state of Jharkhand which was founded by Binod Bihari Mahato. It has one seat in the 17th Lok Sabha. Shibu Soren is the president of the JMM. JMM is also an influential political party in the state of Odisha and parts of neighbouring of states. Its election symbol for Jharkhand is Bow and Arrow.

It was launched by the radical All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) on 30 Dec 1991, at a conference in Ranchi under the leadership of led by Dr. Ram Dayal Munda. AJSU was founded on 22 June 1986.
