Rochester Community and Technical College is also a Post Secondary Institution. This means that high school juniors and seniors can take courses at RCTC if they meet eligibility requirements. Admissions requirements include things such as a specific grade-point-average. Many students choose to participate in the Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) because the credit hours taken at the college are counted at the high school as well. If the student continues his or her education beyond high school graduation, the credits may transfer to another a university as college credit. PSEO is common among public school students, private school students, and homeschool students in the Rochester area. [1]
Located on the University Center Rochester Campus is a nationally recognized Regional Sports Center with more than 20 athletic fields as well as Rochester Regional Stadium featuring a season Bubble for year-round use. Both UCR partners are members of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System.
The University Center Rochester (UCR) advisory board was dissolved in June 2015. Signage is currently in process of being replaced to reflect Rochester Community and Technical College.

Winona State University (WSU) is a public university in Winona, Minnesota. It was founded as First State Normal School of Minnesota in 1858 and is the oldest member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. It was the first normal school west of the Mississippi River.

Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) is a public community college in Rochester, Minnesota. It serves more than 8,000 students annually. The college was founded in 1915 on a motion by Charles Mayo to the Rochester School Board and is Minnesota's oldest original community college.
Palomar College is a public community college in San Diego County, California. The main campus is in San Marcos and three centers and four education sites are located elsewhere throughout north San Diego County. The largest of these by student population is the education center located in Escondido. In 2018, education centers in Rancho Bernardo and Fallbrook opened. The Rancho Bernardo Education Center is located on 27 acres at 11111 Rancho Bernardo Road, and the Fallbrook Education Center is located on 81 acres at 35090 Horse Ranch Creek Road. Lakeville North High School (LNHS) is a public high school in northern Lakeville, Minnesota, United States. Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) is an academic option open to high school seniors, juniors and sophomores in various US states, such as Minnesota, Ohio and Washington. The options allow students to take courses at the college level. It is possible for a student to graduate with both an associate's degree and a high school diploma at the same time via PSEO. The PSEO program was created in 1985 by Minnesota, and later adopted by Ohio's Department of Education PSEO enables 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students to fulfill their high school graduation requirements while earning college credit at Minnesota colleges and universities! People for PSEO exists to promote, defend, and expand opportunities for PSEO students. As well an organization called People For PSEO works on making PSEO more accessible for students and promotes awareness of the program. People for PSEO is a nonprofit organization that promotes the Minnesota PSEO program to break poverty cycles, close education disparity gaps, and reduce student debt. We accomplish this by helping communities learn about PSEO, by lowering barriers to access the program, and by ensuring that students succeed while they are in the PSEO program. .
College in the Schools (CIS) is an educational program for Minnesota high school students run by the University of Minnesota. It allows students to take college level classes in their high school and, as a result, earn college and high school credit free. The classes are taught by high school teachers who receive several weeks of additional training by the University of Minnesota. The curriculum is controlled by the University of Minnesota. More than 100 high schools in Minnesota participate in the program. Similar to programs such as Post Secondary Enrollment Options, the school district must pay for CIS programming for each student who enrolls in the program. Costs for College in the Schools are generally higher than alternative options offered by the Minnesota State System. Many schools who do not offer Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate classes offer CIS.
