The State University of New York at Canton is a public college in Canton, New York. It is part of the State University of New York. The college offers 31 bachelor's degrees, 20 associate degrees, three one-year certificate programs, and 23 online degrees.
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) held a men's national ice hockey championship from 1968 to 1984 when ice hockey was dropped as an NAIA sport.

Crisler Center is an indoor arena located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is the home arena for the University of Michigan's men's and women's basketball teams as well as its women's gymnastics team. Constructed in 1967, the arena seats 12,707 spectators. It is named for Herbert O. "Fritz" Crisler, head football coach at Michigan from 1938 to 1947 and athletic director thereafter until his retirement in 1968. Crisler Center was designed by Dan Dworsky, a member of the 1948 Rose Bowl team. Among other structures that he has designed is the Federal Reserve Bank of Los Angeles.
The Buffalo State Sports Arena is a multi-purpose sports complex, in Buffalo, New York, located at Buffalo State College, a campus of SUNY. The building contains an ice arena, sports arena, fitness center, the Houston Gym, Robert Kissinger Memorial Pool, and a varsity weight room. The sports arena seats 3,500, and is home to the Division III Buffalo State Bengals in the State University of New York Athletic Conference. The facility also houses a 1,800-seat ice arena that is home to the Buffalo State Bengals men's and women's ice hockey teams. It used to serve as host to Canisius Golden Griffins men's ice hockey which competes in Division I Atlantic Hockey until they moved to the LECOM Harborcenter in the fall of 2014 and the Buffalo Wings of Roller Hockey International. It also serves as the home for several youth hockey programs.

The Wolverine–Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) is a college athletic conference of twelve colleges and universities in the U.S. states of Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. Founded in 1992, the conference was created as a successor group for the now-defunct NAIA District 23. The conference is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, and is headquartered in Livonia, Michigan.
College ice hockey is played principally in the United States and Canada, though leagues exist outside North America.
The Utah Valley Wolverines represent Utah Valley University in NCAA DI collegiate athletics and sponsor 16 sporting programs. The Wolverines participate in the Western Athletic Conference. The school mascot is the Wolverine, and the colors are green and white. The UVU student section is called The Den. A name change from The Mawl, the student section's previous name, was enacted summer 2017. All UVU students can get their free Den Pass, which includes free admission to all athletic events.
The Lindenwood Lions and Lady Lions are the intercollegiate athletic teams of Lindenwood University, located in St. Charles, Missouri. The school is primarily a member of the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference, although women's ice hockey and gymnastics and men's volleyball compete in NCAA Division I. The Lions joined the NCAA and the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) in the summer of 2013, after completing the transition process from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC). On October 4, 2018, Lindenwood announced it would be leaving the MIAA for the Great Lakes Valley Conference effective July 1, 2019.
The Liberty Flames and Lady Flames are the athletics teams of Liberty University, in Lynchburg, Virginia, United States. They are a member of the NCAA Division I level in 20 sports. LU is a member of the ASUN Conference for most sports. Two sports that are not sponsored by the ASUN are housed elsewhere. Women's swimming competes in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association. The field hockey team was a member of the Northern Pacific Field Hockey Conference before that league's demise after the 2014 season. After playing the 2015 season as an independent, the team joined the Big East Conference in 2016. In football, Liberty participates in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision as an independent. The mascot, Sparky, is frequently seen at events. Liberty University is the second youngest school in NCAA Division I, founded in 1971. As a member of the Big South Conference, Liberty regularly competed for the Sasser Cup, which is the trophy for the university which has the best sports program among the member institutions. Liberty won the Sasser Cup 10 times, the most in Big South Conference history.
The Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League (GLCHL) is an American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division I level ice hockey league. The GLCHL is made up of seven schools, all of which are located in Michigan.
The Calvin Knights are the Calvin University athletics teams. Calvin University fields are ten men's and eleven women's varsity intercollegiate teams that participate in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association at the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III level.
The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs are the athletic teams that represent the University of Minnesota Duluth. They were first named Bulldogs in 1933. Their colors are maroon and gold. The school competes in the NCAA's Division II in all sports except ice hockey. The men's team competes in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference, and the women's hockey program compete in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. Both hockey conferences are Division I. They are also known for having a strong club sports program, especially in ultimate frisbee, lacrosse, rugby, alpine skiing and ice hockey.
The Marano Campus Center Ice Arena is a 2,500-seat multi-purpose ice arena located in Oswego, New York on the campus of SUNY Oswego. The arena is also the home to the Oswego Lakers Men's and Women's ice hockey teams competing at the NCAA Division III level in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC). As well as a men's club team competing at the ACHA Division I level in the Northeast Collegiate Hockey League, SUNY Oswego Figure Skating Club, and student recreation, intramural hockey, and broomball, and the synchronized skating team. The Arena also serves as a home for SUNY Oswego's convocation events. In addition to the college athletics and other events Marano Campus Center Ice Arena is also the home to local community organizations such as the Oswego Figure Skating Club, and the Oswego High School boys' hockey team as well as recreational ice skating and figure skating.

As well as a men's club team competing at the ACHA Division I level in the Northeast Collegiate Hockey League, SUNY Cortland Figure Skating Club, intramural hockey, and broomball. And for recreation ice skating and figure skating.
The Davenport Panthers are the athletic teams of Davenport University located in Caledonia Township, Michigan. DU is a member of the NCAA and compete at the Division II level in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) for most sports. Men's lacrosse and wrestling currently compete as an NCAA independent; although both sports will join the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) in 2020–21. In addition the university's competitive cheer and Stunt teams compete National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) while the DU competitive dance team competes in the National Dance Association (NDA). Davenport added varsity Esports as a member of National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) in 2018.
Thomas A. Anastos is an American ice hockey coach, former player, and former league administrator. He was most recently the head coach of the Michigan State Spartans men's ice hockey team (MSU), a member of the Big Ten Conference in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). He played junior hockey for the Paddock Pool Saints, college hockey for the Michigan State University Spartans and professional hockey for the Sherbrooke Canadiens. He was an ice hockey league administrator most recently serving as commissioner of the original Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA), a now defunct NCAA Division I conference, from 1998-2012. Anastos is a member of the Dearborn (Michigan) Sports Hall of Fame, inducted in 2000.
The Louisiana Christian Wildcats and Lady Wildcats represent Louisiana Christian University in intercollegiate athletics. The University is a Member of the NAIA and the Red River Athletic Conference and the Sooner Athletic Conference for football only.
