The University of Santander (UDES) is a private research university, approved by the Colombian government through the Ministry of Education, according to legal status 810 1996; [1] organized under the provisions of Act 30 of 1992. [2] This university has different locations in Colombia and Latin America being the main campus located in Bucaramanga, other campus are Panama City (Panama), Bogotá, Cúcuta and Valledupar. Provides technical, undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, and continual education programs.

The Universidad de La Salle is a private, Catholic and Lasallian institution of higher education run by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in Bogotá, D.C., Cundinamarca, Colombia. It was founded by the Christian Brothers in 1964. It has 4 locations: 3 in Bogotá DC- one in the downtown area, in Chapinero, and in the northern section of city. University of Cauca University in Colombia

The Universidad del Cauca is a public institution of higher education located in the city of Popayán, capital of the department of Cauca, Colombia. Simón Bolívar University, also known as Unisimón, is a university located in Barranquilla, with a campus in Cúcuta, Colombia, subject to inspection and monitoring by Law 1740 of 2014 and Law 30 of 1992 of the Ministry of Education of Colombia. It has the institutional accreditation of High Quality granted by the Ministry of Education of Colombia, being the third institution of Barranquilla together with the North University and the Free University to receive this recognition.
