Östers Idrottsförening, commonly known as Östers IF or simply Öster, is a Swedish sports club located in Växjö, specializing in football, and playing in the second tier of Swedish football, Superettan.
The Malmö Redhawks, also known simply as Malmö or by their former abbreviation MIF, are a Swedish professional ice hockey club based in Malmö. The team is currently playing in Sweden's premier hockey league, the SHL. They play their home games at Malmö Arena. The club has historical roots dating back to 1947 as the ice hockey division of the association football club Malmö FF. In 1972 the team broke loose from Malmö FF and started an independent club known as Malmö IF. The name was changed to MIF Redhawks in 2001, this lasted until 2004 when it was changed to Malmö Redhawks.
Leksands Idrottsförening is a Swedish ice hockey team from the town of Leksand in the region of Dalarna. The team plays in the top-tier league, SHL, after succeeding through the 2019 SHL qualifiers and thus earning promotion to the SHL. The club's home arena is Tegera Arena, which seats 7,650 spectators.
HockeyAllsvenskan is a professional ice hockey league, and the second-highest league in the Swedish ice hockey system. Since the 2009–10 season, the league consists of fourteen teams.

The team maintained its place in the Allsvenskan despite suffering relegation in the 2018–19 season following the exit of IK Pantern due to economic troubles prior to the 2019–20 season.
IK Oskarshamn is an ice hockey club from Oskarshamn in Sweden. The team plays in the top-tier league, SHL, after succeeding through the 2019 SHL qualifiers and thus earning promotion to the SHL. The 2019–20 season will be the team's first season in the top-tier league.

Behrn Arena is an indoor ice hockey arena located in Örebro, Sweden. It is Örebro HK's home arena. The arena opened on 1 January 1965 and previously had a capacity of 4,400 spectators, but after a renovation that began in 2010 and finished in September 2011, this number increased to 5,200. The finished renovation of the arena was inaugurated on 28 September 2011. The current capacity is 5,500.
Hammarby IF Ishockeyförening is an ice hockey club founded as "Bajen Fans IF" in 2008 by supporters of the previous incarnation of Hammarby Hockey which went bankrupt that same year. The club has played in Hockeyettan, the third tier of Swedish men's ice hockey, since the 2013–14 season.

Karlskrona HK is an ice hockey club located in Karlskrona, Sweden, established in 2001. They played three seasons in the top-tier Swedish Hockey League (SHL) between the 2015–16 and 2017–18 seasons. Their home arena is NKT Arena Karlskrona which has a capacity of 5,050 spectators.
Idrottsklubben Pantern, known as IK Pantern, were a Swedish professional ice hockey club based in Malmö, Sweden who mostly played in the Hockeyettan, the third tier of ice hockey in Sweden, before gaining promotion to the HockeyAllsvenskan in the 2015–16 season. The club participated on two occasions in the promotion qualifiers to Sweden's top flight, the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), without success before filing for bankruptcy following the 2018–19 season. The club was re-formed shortly thereafter under the new name Ishockeyklubben Pantern and will play the 2019–20 season in Hockeytrean, the fifth tier of ice hockey in Sweden.
The 2012–13 HockeyAllsvenskan season was the 8th season of the HockeyAllsvenskan, the second-highest level of ice hockey in Sweden. The regular season began on 12 September 2012 and ended on 2 March 2013, with the following playoffs and Kvalserien tournaments running until 5 April 2013. Leksands IF, following a season marked by financial instability and scandal, secured first place in the regular season standings, and continued to the qualification round for the 2013–14 SHL/Elitserien season, along with second-place Södertälje SK, third place VIK Västerås HK, and playoff winner Örebro HK. Meanwhile, 13th- and 14th-ranked Tingsryds AIF and Karlskrona HK were forced to defend their places in HockeyAllsvenskan for the 2013–14 season.
The 2013–14 HockeyAllsvenskan season began on 12 September 2013 and included 14 teams. IF Björklöven, Swedish champions in 1987, rejoined the league, following a three-year stint in Division 1 after their near-bankruptcy in 2010. They replaced Tingsryds AIF, who were demoted to Division 1 following a third-place finish in the 2013 HockeyAllsvenskan qualifiers. Also new to the league were Timrå IK and Rögle BK, both of whom were demoted from Elitserien, replacing Leksands IF and Örebro HK who were promoted up to the SHL in their stead.
The 2018–19 HockeyAllsvenskan season is the 14th season that the second tier of Swedish ice hockey has operated under that name. The series consists of 14 teams playing a regular season in which each team plays each other team four times, twice at home and twice away. This is followed by a series of promotion and relegation tournaments, with the teams finishing first through eight participating in promotion playoffs, and the teams finishing 13th and 14th forced to requalify to avoid relegation to the Hockeyettan.
