Cherryland Center is an outdoor shopping mall in Traverse City, Michigan. Opened in 1976 as an enclosed mall, it was renovated as an outdoor property in 1999. The center's sole anchor store is Big Lots. The center is now widely considered a dead mall.
Parkway Center Mall was an enclosed shopping mall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Opened in 1982, the mall closed in 2013 after losing Kmart, its last anchor store. The only remaining store in operation is a Giant Eagle supermarket. In 2016, the entirety of the mall was demolished, except for the Giant Eagle/Kmart building.
South Side Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in South Williamson, Kentucky, on U.S. Route 119. Anchor stores are Sears Hometown Store, Shoe Show, and Tractor Supply Company. The mall is also home to South Side Theater.
Cache Valley Mall is a shopping mall located in Logan, Utah that opened in 1976. The anchor store is C-A-L Ranch with two vacant anchors last occupied by Herberger's and JCPenney. The mall is owned by Namdar Realty Group.
Cross County Mall is a shopping mall in Mattoon, Illinois, U.S. It was opened in 1971 with JCPenney, G. C. Murphy, IGA, Arlan's, and Myers Brothers, with Sears joining in 1972. Following the closure of Arlan's in 1973, the space became Kmart one year later. G. C. Murphy became Meis, Elder-Beerman, and then Carson's, while Kmart moved out of the mall in 1993 and became a larger Sears store. The Sears closed in 2014 and became a Rural King in 2019. After the closures of Carson's and JCPenney in 2018 and 2020 respectively, the mall's remaining anchors are Rural King, Marshalls, and Jo-Ann Fabrics. Rural King also owns the mall.
Sandburg Mall was a shopping mall in Galesburg, Illinois. The mall operated as an enclosed shopping center from 1975 to 2018 with main anchor stores and a variety of interior stores. The interior mall was closed September 28, 2018 leaving just three businesses - a car repair shop, a building supply outlet store, and a moving van rental operation - as of 2019. The mall's anchor stores were Sears, Bergner's, JCPenney, and Kmart.
The Brickyard, sometimes known as the Brickyard Mall, is a shopping mall located in Chicago, Illinois, U.S. Built in 1977 as an enclosed shopping mall featuring J. C. Penney, Kmart, and Montgomery Ward, it was redeveloped in 2003 as a strip mall. The center's anchor stores are Jewel, Target, Marshalls, and Lowe's. The Brickyard is owned and managed by CBRE Group.
