Urta Rozenstruik (born 20 May 1975 in Paramaribo) is a Dutch sprinter and bobsledder born in Suriname. Rozenstruik started with international bobsleigh competitions in 2002. She is a runner in a 2-bob mostly alongside Eline Jurg.
In 2005 two Dutch female bobs qualified for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, however the team line-ups were still unsure. At the qualification play-off (named bob-off) held in Oberhof, Germany four competitors fought for two seats behind Jurg and the other driver Ilse Broeders. Jurg's main runner Christel Bertens was the main victim of the qualification process and ended up in fourth position. Jeannette Pennings was teamed-up with her main driver Broeders, while Bertens was replaced by Kitty van Haperen instead, Broeders' first back-up runner.
Rozenstruik, Jurg's back-up runner at the time became third and was the reserve runner in case anything would happen with either Pennings or Van Haperen. At the Olympics she saw Broeders/Pennings starting off first, crashing and causing concentration trouble for Jurg/Van Haperen who saw it all happen. This resulted in disappointing results and an eleventh position overall after four runs.

César González is a Dutch bobsledder born in the Dominican Republic. Gonzáles started with international bobsleigh competitions in the 2002-03 season. In January 2006 he qualified himself in the team of Arend Glas that several weeks earlier qualified for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. At the qualification play-off held in Oberhof, Germany he ended up in fourth position behind his opponents, resulting in qualification, but as a reserve bobsledder in case any of the other members faced an injury. Eventually he did not come in action during the Olympics, but he saw his team mates ending up at the 16th position.
Sybren Jansma is a Dutch bobsledder. Jansma started with international bobsleigh competitions in the 2002 and was not yet part of Arend Glas's team that participated at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. However, Jansma developed himself to become Glas's main compatriot in the years to follow in both the 2-bob as the 4-bob. In January 2006 Jansma qualified himself in the team of that several weeks earlier secured its qualification for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. At the qualification play-off held in Oberhof, Germany, he ended up in first position claiming his seat in both possible bobs. Together with Glas he became 19th after four runs in the 2-bob, while with Glas, Vincent Kortbeek and Arno Klaassen the 16th position was reached.
Ilse Broeders is a Dutch bobsledder who competed from 1999 to 2006. Competing in two Winter Olympics, she earned her best finish of tenth in the two-woman event at Salt Lake City in 2002.
Jeannette Pennings is a Dutch bobsledder and track and field athlete. The high jumper Wilbert Pennings is her brother. She started with international bobsleigh competitions in 1999. She is the runner in a 2-bob mostly alongside Ilse Broeders. Broeders and Pennings appeared on their first Olympics at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. They were named among the possible surprise medalists, but were unable to reach this effort. In 2005 two Dutch female bobs qualified for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin; however the team line-ups were still unsure. At the qualification play-off held in Oberhof, Germany four competitors fought for two seats behind Broeders and the other driver Eline Jurg. Pennings ended up in first position and joined Broeders in her team. At the Olympics Broeders and Pennings started off as first Dutch team, but were unable to recover a mistake in the upper half of the track, which resulted in a crash. Unless the bob crashed it still was able to reach the finish, with the frightened bobsledders still inside. They were all right and had no physical problems. They were allowed to return for the remaining three runs, but mentally they were hit and withdrew from competition.
Eline Jurg is a Dutch bobsledder who has competed since 1996. Competed in two Winter Olympics, she earned her best finish of sixth in the two-woman event at Salt Lake City in 2002.

Kitty van Haperen is a retired Dutch athlete and bobsledder.
The Netherlands competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, People's Republic of China. This was announced in an official statement on the NOC*NSF website. In the statement they named the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games as a highlight in sports to which a lot of sportspeople, coaches and the Dutch sports fans would look forward. The Netherlands aimed for a top 10 nations ranking in the Olympics as well as a top 25 ranking in the Paralympics; they ended up ranking 12th at the Games.

Kimberley Bos is a Dutch skeleton racer who competes on the Skeleton World Cup circuit. She started competing internationally in 2009, originally in bobsleigh, and was selected to the Dutch national team in 2010; she switched to skeleton for the 2013–14 European Cup season. Her personal coach is Urta Rozenstruik, and she rides a Bromley sled. Away from the track, Bos is a physiotherapy student, occasionally serving as "unofficial physio" to the other athletes. Bos was the only woman named to represent the Netherlands in skeleton at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, where she finished eighth. Bos returned for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, where she won the bronze medal and became the first Dutch skeleton athlete to win a medal.

The 2023 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine was a multi-event, Formula Regional open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held across Europe. The championship featured a mix of professional and amateur drivers, competing in Formula Regional cars that conform to the FIA Formula Regional regulations for the championship. This was the fifth season of the championship and the third after a merger with Formula Renault Eurocup which resulted to the change of the engine supplier to Alpine.
