Ghantasala Venkateswararao was an Indian film composer, Playback Singer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema. According to The Hindu and The Indian Express, Ghantasala was "Such a divine talent and with his songs he could move the hearts of the people." "Ghantasala's blending of classical improvisations to the art of light music combined with his virtuosity and sensitivity puts him a class apart, above all others in the field of playback singing"." "Gifted with what Indian Film Historian V. A. K. Ranga Rao called "the most majestic voice", Ghantasala helped Telugu film music develop its own distinct character which remains unparalleled". The film was remade in Telugu by S. V. Krishna Reddy as Sardukupodaam Randi (2001), starring Jagapati Babu and Soundarya.
Aada Paduchu is a 1967 Telugu-language drama film, produced and directed by K. Hemambaradhara Rao under the Subhashini Art Pictures banner. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Krishna Kumari, Sobhan Babu, Vanisri, Chandrakala in the lead roles and music composed by T. Chalapathi Rao. The film is a remake of the 1952 Tamil movie En Thangai (1952) which was earlier remade in Hindi in 1959 as Chhoti Bahen and in Kannada in 1967 as Onde Balliya Hoogalu. The film was recorded as a Super Hit at the box office.

The Bobbili Fort, located in the Vizianagaram district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, was built during the middle of the 19th century in Bobbili. It has a historical link to the nearby mud fort of the same name which was destroyed during the Bobbili war in 1757 in a feud between the Rajas of Bobbili and the neighbouring Maharaja of Vizianagaram.

Akkineni Nageswara Rao won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor - Telugu for this film.

The film is a remake of the Tamil-language film Padikkadha Medhai (1960) which itself was a remake of 1953 Bengali-language film Jog Biyog based on the novel of same name by Ashapoorna Devi.

Ranga Rao, Kanta Rao, Kalyanam Raghuramaiah, Peketi Sivaram, P. Hemalatha and Mohana in supporting roles. It is a remake of the 1958 Bengali film Jamalaye Jibanta Manush and was simultaneously filmed in Tamil as Naan Kanda Sorgam with a largely different cast. Devanthakudu was released on 7 July 1960 and became a commercial success.

Ravu Venkata Swetha Chalapathi Kumara Krishna Rangarao also known as Baby Nayana is the Ex- Municipal Chairperson of Bobbili for one term from 2005 is also the brother of Ex-State Minister of Mines, Andhra Pradesh in the cabinet of N. Chandrababu Naidu from 2014-2019. He is presently serving in the telugu Desam Party.
