VSS-UNES-USU

VSS-UNES-USU (from the German : Verband Schweizer Studierendenschaften, French : Union des Etudiant-e-s de Suisse, and Italian : Unione Svizzera degli Universitari) is the national students' union of Switzerland. Established in 1920, it is an umbrella organization of students' unions of most Swiss higher education institutions and represents the interests of students at the federal level.

VSS-UNES-USU is a member of the European Students' Union.

The AS Val "Shaft" and VSS Vintorez "Thread Cutter", 6P30 and 6P29 respectively, were a Soviet-designed assault rifle featuring an integral suppressor based on the prototype RG-036 completed in 1981 by TsNIITochMash. The two rifles hereafter are referred to as the Vintorez and Val. The Vintorez and Val were developed by TsNIITochMash to replace modified general-purpose firearms, such as the AKS-74UB, BS-1, APB, and PB, for clandestine operations, much like the PSS Vul. Manufacturing began at the Tula Arms Plant after its adoption by the Armed Forces of the Soviet Union in 1987.

Trudovye Rezervy — one of the Voluntary Sports Societies of the USSR. The society was created during the World War II in 1943 and existed until dissolution of the Soviet Union, being officially disbanded in summer of 1992. The Russian SFSR branch of sports society was transformed into "Yunost Rossii" sports society. In 2018 Trudovye Rezervy as a sports society was revived in the Russian Federation.

Zenit was the All-Union VSS. The name has been retained after the fall of the Soviet Union and the VSS system, notably by FC Zenit Saint Petersburg, which won the 2007 and 2010 Russian Premier League seasons, the 2007-08 UEFA Cup, and the 2008 UEFA Super Cup in association football.

Aleksey Sergeyevich Spiridonov was a Soviet athlete who mainly competed in the men's hammer throw event. Born in Leningrad he trained at VSS Trud in Leningrad.

Founded as Carbon College in 1937, the college joined the University of Utah system in 1959 for 10 years and was renamed College of Eastern Utah (CEU). In 1969, the Utah System of Higher Education was created ending the relationship between the University of Utah and CEU. CEU entered the USU system on July 1, 2010 as Utah State University Eastern. Vegetarian Society (Singapore) or VSS is a non-profit, non-denominational organisation. The Singapore-registered charity was established in 1999 to "Promote vegetarianism among the public and support and link individuals and organizations that practise, promote or endorse vegetarianism". VSS is the largest community for vegetarianism, veganism or any form of semi-vegetarianism in Singapore. Promoting a plant-based diet is one of the main goals.

The station is run entirely by students as an initiative of the University of Sydney Union, and broadcasts online through the iHeartRadio platform. SURG stands for the 'Sydney University Radio Group'. SURG showcases a diverse array of music and shows, allowing students to create their own programming.
