Vadaveekam is a village near Jayankondam, Ariyalur district, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
Jayankondam is a Second Grade Municipality in Ariyalur district of Tamil Nadu in India. It is also called Jayamkondacholapuram. As of 2011, the town had a population of 33,945.

It is the Smallest district headquarters in Tamil Nadu. The town is located at a distance of 310 km (190 mi) from the state capital Chennai.
