Rita Reis [3] (born July 18, 1995) [1] is a Brazilian professional wrestler and judoka currently signed to Women of Wrestling (WOW) under the ring name Gabriella Cruz. She is best known for her time in the WWE, under the ring name Valentina Feroz.
In December 2018 Reis participated in a tryout for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in Santiago, Chile. [4] She was eventually signed by WWE in August 2019. [5] She made her television debut for NXT on the September 23, 2020 episode of NXT competing under her real name in a battle royal to determine the number one contender for the WWE NXT Women's Championship but was eliminated by Raquel Gonzalez. [6] Reis made her next appearance on the December 30, 2020 episode of NXT under the ring name Valentina Feroz where she faced Mercedes Martinez in a losing effort. [7] Feroz would go on to form a tag team with Yulisa Leon they made their tag team debut on the October 22, 2021 episode 205 Live where they faced the team of Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter in a losing effort. [8] The team made their SmackDown debut on May 19, 2023, where they faced Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn in a losing effort. [9] At The Great American Bash 2023 Feroz teamed with Dragon Lee, Nathan Frazer & Yulisa Leon and faced Meta-Four (Jakara Jackson, Lash Legend, Noam Dar & Oro Mensah) in an 8-person Mixed Tag Team match where Feroz's team were victorious. [10] On September 21, 2023, Leon would be released by WWE leaving Feroz as a single competitor. [11] Feroz's final match for WWE was on the December 15, 2023 episode of NXT Level Up where she defeated Amari Miller. [12] On May 3, 2024, Feroz was released from the WWE. [13]
