The Hunger for More is the debut solo studio album by American rapper Lloyd Banks. Originally scheduled for a May 25, 2004 release, the album was ultimately dropped on June 29, 2004 through G-Unit Records and Interscope Records.
Lloyd Polite Jr. is an American R&B singer. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Decatur, Georgia, he began his musical career as a member of the preteen-boy band N-Toon, which was formed by Joyce Irby in 1996. The group disbanded in 2001, and Polite signed with record executive Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. Records, an imprint of Def Jam Recordings in 2003 to pursue a solo career. His 2004 debut single, "Southside" peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 and led his first album Southside (2004), which entered the Billboard 200 at number 11. His second album, Street Love (2007) debuted at number two on the chart and was supported by the Billboard Hot 100-top 20 singles "You" and "Get It Shawty".

Originally, the single featured Atlanta rapper Tango Redd, who was replaced with Lil Wayne before the official release. Recording sessions took place at Echo Studios in Atlanta. Production was handled by Shawty Redd, Keith Mack, Marvelous J, Nard & B, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Kane Beatz and Tony Galvin, with Jason Geter and T.I. serving as executive producers. It features guest appearances from Lil Duval, Lloyd, Ricco Barrino, Trey Songz, Young Dro, Yung L.A., and his P$C groupmates T.I. and Mac Boney. The album debuted at number 98 on the Billboard 200 and number 13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts with 6,000 copies sold in the United States in the first week of its release.

Mainstream is the third and final studio album by Lloyd Cole and the Commotions. It was produced by Ian Stanley and released by Polydor Records in the UK and by Capitol Records in the US on 26 October 1987. It included the singles "My Bag", "Jennifer She Said" and "From the Hip". Although the album reached number nine in the UK, it failed to chart in the US and was not embraced by all critics: Mainstream is the only Lloyd Cole and the Commotions album not to sell at least 100,000 copies in the US.

The song was included in the soundtrack of the 1990 American psychological thriller film Bad Influence.
