Vallavilai is a fishing village in Kollenkode panchayat, Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India.

Vallavilai has an average literacy rate of 86%, higher than the national average of 59.5%.[ citation needed ] Male literacy is 80% and female 80%.
