Van Lal Hruaia (born 25 May 1991) is a Burmese footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Rakhine United. He made his international debut on 30 March 2015 against Indonesia. [2]

The tournament was first started in 1978 in the memory of former Indian prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri and is named after him. Apart from some top clubs from Delhi, clubs from neighbouring states also participated in the tournament.
