Vanderbilt 'N Printemp's Lucky Strike, better known as Striker, is a male Samoyed dog. He was the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show's 2021 and 2022 Working Group Winner. [1]
Striker was born in June 2016 in Canada. [2] His parents are Happy Go Lucky and Cherry Brandy. [3] His owners claim that he was notable since birth and said that he "always had that X factor". [4]
Striker won multiple awards by 2018, including Best Baby Puppy in Shows, Best In Show and Best of Breed en route to becoming a Canadian and American Grand Champion. [5] He won four Best in Show awards in 2018. In 2019, he became the Canadian all-time winning samoyed in points and Best in Show awards. [5] His 2020 season was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, but Striker won 23 Best in Show awards finished the year as the top samoyed winner. [5] 2021 was Striker's most successful year as he finished the year as the top ranked dog amongst all breeds, capturing 111 AKC Best in Show awards. [6] [7] Striker also won his biggest award at the time - The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show's 2021 Working Group Winner. [8] Striker's victories also helped his handler, Laura King, capture the 2021 Professional Handler of the Year award. Ch. Felicity's Diamond Jim, CD, RE, commonly known as James, was an English Springer Spaniel. He was the 2007 Best In Show winner at the Westminster Dog Show. It was his 51st Best in Show victory, and his last, as his owners chose to retire James after the win to focus him on his work as a certified therapy dog. He was handled exclusively by the same handler who took Ch. Salilyn 'N Erin's Shameless to a best-in-show at Westminster in 2000. In retirement he was recognised in 2008 by the English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association for his work as a sire and has produced many champion offspring, including Ch. Cerise Jesse James, as well as a loving family companion, Winston Henderson.
Ch. Clussexx Three D Grinchy Glee, better known as Stump, was a male Sussex Spaniel who won Best In Show at the 2009 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Stump was the first of his breed to win that honor and, at 10 years old, the oldest dog ever to win the prize. He also won the Sporting Group at Westminster in 2004, the first such victory for his breed, and amassed 51 Best in Show awards throughout his career. One of his owners described him as "the most famous Sussex (Spaniel) that has ever lived".
Ch. Loteki Supernatural Being also known as Kirby, a Papillon, best known for being the only dog to have won all three major international dog shows in the same year and being the oldest winner of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show at eight years old, until his record was broken in 2009 by Clussexx Three D Grinchy Glee at ten years old.
Ch. Efbe's Hidalgo At Goodspice, also known as Charmin, was a male Sealyham Terrier who was the Best in Show at the American Kennel Club National Championship in 2007, World Dog Show in 2008, and Crufts in 2009. He also won the Terrier Group at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show in 2008.
GCH Roundtown Mercedes of Maryscot, also known as Sadie, was a Scottish terrier from Mackinac Island in the U.S. state of Michigan.
GCH Foxcliffe Hickory Wind, also known as Hickory, was a female Scottish Deerhound who was named Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in 2011. She was the first of her breed to have won the title.
Ch. Salilyn 'N Erin's Shameless also known as Samantha, was an English Springer Spaniel, best known for being Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in February 2000. Her sire was Ch. Salilyn's Condor, Best in Show winner at Westminster in 1993, Samantha became the first offspring of a previous Best in Show winner at Westminster to take the same prize.
Ch. Ferry v. Rauhfelsen of Giralda also known as Ferry, a Doberman Pinscher, best known for being Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in both 1939 while owned by Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge. He was the grandfather of two-time champion, Rancho Dobe's Storm.
GCH Palacegarden Malachy, also known as Malachy, was a male Pekingese who was named Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in 2012 after reaching the Best in Show round in 2011. He was also the second ranked dog in the United States in 2011.

Torums Scarf Michael in Liverpool, England, was a Kerry Blue Terrier who is best known for being the 2000 Best in Show winner at Crufts, and 2003 Best in Show of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. He is the first dog to win the "Triple Crown" of dog shows, having also won the 2002 AKC/Eukanuba National Invitational Championship.
Ch. Warren Remedy (1905–1912) was a Best in Show winner of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in 1907, 1908 and 1909. A smooth-coated fox terrier owned by Winthrop Rutherfurd, she was the only dog to win Westminster three years in a row.
GCH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, also known as Joe, is a 17 year old toy Affenpinscher that won Best In Show at the 137th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on February 12, 2013. Banana Joe was the first of his breed to win Best in Show at Madison Square Garden. This was his last show, and following it Joe went home to the Netherlands to be with his owner Mieke Cooijmans.
Ch. Jafrak Philippe Olivier,, also known as Philip, was a male Giant Schnauzer who won the title of Best In Show at Crufts in 2008. He had previously won the Working Group in 2004 and 2005.
Ch./Am. Ch. Afterglow Maverick Sabre, also known as Ricky, is a black Standard Poodle show dog owned at that time by his handler Jason Lynn together with John and Sandra Stone, who won Best in Show at Crufts in 2014. After the win, Ricky's owners stated he would retire from show ring competitions in the UK. He has also had a successful career in America.
Ch. Tashtins Lookin For Trouble, also known as Miss P, was a female beagle from Enderby, British Columbia and Milton, Ontario, who was named the 2015 Best In Show winner at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Miss P has 20 Best in Show wins in the United States, and was the second beagle to win Westminster's Best in Show after Uno, who was her great-uncle. She died in her sleep in October 2021 at the age of 10.
Gabriel Rangel is a professional dog handler and master dog groomer. He has shown three dogs awarded Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show: King, a Wire Fox Terrier, in 2019; Sky, also a Wire Fox Terrier, in 2014; and Sadie, a Scottish Terrier, in 2010. Rangel is now one win behind Peter Green, who won Best in Show as a handler four times.
