The Vanuatu women's national basketball team is the basketball side that represents Vanuatu in international competitions. It is administered by the Vanuatu Amateur Basketball Federation. [2]
The team appeared at the 1981 Oceania Basketball Tournament for Women and the 2011 Pacific Games.

The team is by far the most successful in international women's basketball, having won nine out of the eleven Olympic tournaments it had entered. It has also won nine of the last twelve World Cups, and eleven titles overall. The team is currently ranked first in the FIBA World Rankings.

The Russia women's national basketball team is administered by the Russian Basketball Federation. The team has participated in four FIBA Women's World Cups and their best finish has been a silver medal in 1998, 2002 and 2006. In European Women Basketball Championship the Russian team won gold medals in 2003, 2007 and 2011, silver medals in 2001, 2005 and 2009, and bronze in 1995 and 1999. They have participated in five Olympic Games, winning two bronze medals.

The International Basketball Federation is an association of national organizations which governs the sport of basketball worldwide. A total of 212 national federations are now members, organized since 1989 into five zones: Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.

Belgium's first appearance in a major international tournament came at EuroBasket 1950. The team has participated in the European Championship fourteen times overall. Their best results at the event are winning the title in 2023, and two third place finishes. Belgium has also competed on the global stage, where they have made two appearances at the World Cup, and one at the Olympic Games (2020).
Basketball at the Pacific Games has been played since 1963. It has also been contested at the Pacific Mini Games and, from the games at Port Vila in 2017, under the 3x3 format.
