Steven Howard "Steve" Fraser is an American Greco-Roman wrestler and coach. He was the 1984 Olympic Games gold medalist in Greco-Roman wrestling, in the 90 kg weight class. Fraser's gold medal was the first ever for the United States in Greco-Roman wrestling.

Corneliu Ion is a Romanian retired shooter who specialized in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol event. He competed at the 1976, 1980, 1984 and 1988 Olympics and won a gold medal in 1980 and a silver in 1984, placing fifth in 1976. In 1984 he served as the flag bearer for Romania at the opening ceremony. In 1975 he set a team world record at 2370 points and in 1977 equaled the individual world record at 598 points.

He also won world titles in different weight divisions in 1978 and 1982 and European titles in 1978–1981 and 1985. After retiring from competitions he worked as a wrestling coach in Romania and in Turkey.
Gheorghe Berceanu was a Romanian light-flyweight Greco-Roman wrestler. He won the world title in 1969 and 1972, the European title in 1970, 1972, and 1973, and an Olympic gold medal in 1972 in Munich and a silver in 1976 in Montreal. Berceanu spent most of his career at Steaua București, and later worked there as a coach.

Since 2005, Pavăl had won a total of five bronze medals at the European Wrestling Championships. She is a member of CSA Steaua București, and is coached and trained by Simon Constantin and Vasile Vişan.

He won two silver medals for his division at the 2008 European Wrestling Championships in Tampere, Finland, and at the 2010 European Wrestling Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. He is also a member of Dinamo București, and is coached and trained by Carare Petrica.
Ender Petru Sudureac is a retired amateur Romanian Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's heavyweight category. Sudureac has claimed a silver medal in the 97-kg division at the 1995 World Wrestling Championships, and later represented his nation Romania in two editions of the Olympic Games. Throughout his sporting career, Sudureac trained as part of the Greco-Roman wrestling team for Dinamo București, under his coach Nicolae Zamfir.
Andrei Vasile Muntean is a Romanian male artistic gymnast and a member of the national team. He won gold medals on the parallel bars at the 2002 European Junior Championships and on the rings at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics. Since his senior debut in 2011, Muntean appeared in every edition of the World Championships, and was eventually selected to compete, alongside his fellow gymnasts Marian Drăgulescu and Catalina Ponor, for the Romanian squad at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Andrei Socaci is a retired Romanian weightlifter. After winning a silver medal at the 1984 Olympics as a lightweight he moved up to the middleweight division and won nine medals at the world and European championships between 1985 and 1992, including the European title in 1991. After retiring from competition he stayed as a coach with his last club CS Dinamo București.
