Vecdole Castle (German : Schloss Alt-Dahlen) is a castle on the Daugava River in the historical region of Vidzeme, Latvia. Built before 1226, today only ruins remain.
Riga Castle is a castle on the banks of River Daugava in Riga, the capital of Latvia. The castle was founded in 1330. Its structure was thoroughly rebuilt between 1497 and 1515. Upon the castle's seizure by the Swedes, they constructed spacious annexes in 1641. The fortress was continually augmented and reconstructed between the 17th and 19th centuries. Sometime in the 1930s, some renovation work was done by architect Eižens Laube. The Latvian government declared the castle its residence in 1938. Today it is the official residence of the President of Latvia as well as home to several museums.

The House of the Blackheads is a building situated in the old town of Riga, Latvia. The original building was erected in 1334 as a warehouse, meeting and celebration place for merchants. It was the biggest public building of Riga. From mid-15th century it was also used by Brotherhood of Blackheads, a guild for unmarried merchants, shipowners and foreigners in Riga. Major works were done in the early 17th century, adding most of the Mannerist ornamentation. In the 19th century some of the sculptures were made by the workshop of August Volz. Additionally, it is the site of the first decorated Christmas tree, which was erected in 1510.

It was originally built at the beginning of the 19th century as a baronial hunting lodge with two room apartments for guests on the second floor. The building has housed the Snēpele primary school since 1924.

The estate has a large 14.7-hectare park with 26 sculptures, and an antiques museum has been installed in the stone barn. Jumurda Manor is a manor house in Jumurda Parish, Madona Municipality in the Vidzeme region of Latvia. It was built after 1856 in Eclectic style. Vandalized during the Revolution of 1905, the manor was restored in 1907. After 1929 it housed the Jumurda primary school for many years. The estate buildings and manor house are gradually being renovated to create a resort hotel complex.
Suntaži Manor is a manor house in the historical region of Vidzeme, northern Latvia. Originally built as a one-story structure near the end of the 18th century, it was enlarged during the 19th century. Severely damaged by fire in 1905, it was restored in 1909. Though the building housed the Suntaži primary school after 1920, it has housed the Suntaži secondary school since 1952.

Lielvārde Castle is a castle in Lielvārde, a town in Ogre Municipality in the Vidzeme region of Latvia.The castle was built at the steep bank of Daugava River, overseeing this important medieval waterway, before 1248 by Albert of Buxthoeven, an archbishop of Riga. During the Livonian War, Lielvārde Castle was destroyed by Russian troops in 1579. Its ruins are conserved up to the level of the second floor.
