Vedika Pinto is an Indian actress. Her first film was the Bollywood thriller Operation Romeo . She then starred in Gumraah, a remake of Thadam opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. [1] She is also known for her appearances in many music videos.

Childhood and personal life

Vedika Pinto was born into a Christian household in Mumbai on October 14, 1995. Her father Johnny Pinto was a Hindi film business associate and her mother Monia Saigal Pinto is a banker. Veer Pinto her brother also lives in Mumbai. Throughout her school years, she competed in numerous national and international dance competitions. According to sources she was a multi-talented girl at school. She went to the Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai and graduated from the University of London.

Following extensive auditions, Vedika Pinto landed her first acting role in a Bollywood film supported by the likes of famous producer/director Neeraj Pandey. Pinto who was born into a media and advertising family rather than an acting dynasty believes that favouritism occurs in every sector but it is the audience who ultimately makes or breaks a star.

She also featured in a Ritviz music video by the name Liggi in December 2019. It became a chartbuster all across India, breaking multiple records, becoming one of the most streamed Indian Indie songs of India. It has close to 200 Million views on YouTube. This song was her breakout, as people loved her performance in it.[ citation needed ]
