Venetian Gondolas is a gondola ride at Tokyo DisneySea theme park. It is located at the Mediterranean Harbor area.

Summary

Each gondola is steered by two gondoliers and has a seating capacity for 16 guests. The gondola is steered out into a canal that leads to the Mediterranean Harbor. Guests are asked by the gondoliers to say "Ciao!" to other gondola guests or the DisneySea Transit Steamer Line guests. The gondoliers also sing a song as the gondola returns to the loading area. The ride lasts for about 11.5 minutes.

Venetian Gondolas do not operate when shows are being set up and performed in Mediterranean Harbor.

The gondola is a traditional, flat-bottomed Venetian rowing boat, well suited to the conditions of the Venetian lagoon. It is typically propelled by a gondolier, who uses a rowing oar, which is not fastened to the hull, in a sculling manner and also acts as the rudder. The uniqueness of the gondola includes its being asymmetrical along the length making the single-oar propulsion more efficient.

Disney's Venetian Resort was to be a Disney-owned resort at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, that originally would have begun operation on October 1, 1971. It was going to be themed after Venice, Italy, located on Seven Seas Lagoon. Due to the 1973 Oil Embargo, the resort, along with Disney's Asian Resort and Disney's Persian Resort, were never built. In the late 1980s to early 1990s, Michael Eisner saw how well Disney's Grand Floridian Resort was doing and wanted an even better resort. The idea for the Venetian was scrapped in favor of Disney's Mediterranean Resort, which was also not built.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is a ride in Magic Kingdom, at Walt Disney World. It is based on the 1992 film, Aladdin. It is similar to the Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction in that riders in the front rows control how high their carpets fly, and the ride lasts about 90 seconds. Aladdin's magic lamp is at the top, rather than Timothy Q. Mouse. At the entrance, there is a camel that squirts people as they walk by, much like the Stitch figurine outside the World of Disney store. Guests who have visited Adventureland before may notice that this area has a new look. The shops look like the marketplace buildings from Aladdin, and different characters from Aladdin are in some of the buildings to do meet & greets and sign autographs.

The Disney Skyliner is a gondola lift system at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida. It opened on September 29, 2019, with five stations located at resorts and theme parks. Each gondola cabin can hold up to ten guests, or up to six if there is a wheelchair or electric scooter. Guests sit on twin, inward-facing, wooden benches. Strollers 30 in × 48 in and smaller are able to roll directly into the gondola and do not have to be folded.
