"Venus" is Tackey & Tsubasa's sixth single under the Avex Trax label.
"Venus" is Tackey & Tsubasa's sixth single, and currently their best selling single, reaching the 300,000 copies sold mark. The a-side song "Venus" was used in commercials for the ringtone service site, Mu-Mo. The b-side song "Kimi no Na wo Yobitai" was used as the ending theme for the TBS show "Zubari Iu wa yo." The other b-side song "Never Ever" was used as the opening theme song for the anime "Capeta."

Tackey & Tsubasa (タッキー&翼) were a Japanese idol duo consisting of Hideaki Takizawa and Tsubasa Imai from the Japanese talent agency Johnny & Associates. Takizawa, nicknamed "Tackey", is best known for his drama works, and Tsubasa for his dancing ability. They have also been musically successful with hit singles such as "Venus" and "Yume Monogatari". Their works are produced by Avex Trax.
Hideaki Takizawa, also known professionally as Tackey (タッキー), is a Japanese record producer and former singer and actor. In 2002, he debuted with Tsubasa Imai in the group Tackey & Tsubasa under the record label Avex Trax.
Tsubasa Imai is a Japanese retired singer, actor and dancer formerly in the Japanese agency Johnny & Associates. He joined Johnny & Associates in 1995 and officially debuted in 2002 in the duo Tackey & Tsubasa with Hideaki Takizawa. They are signed to the record label Avex Trax. Imai released his first solo single, "Backborn", on February 24, 2010.
