Absent from this album is a long, mostly-instrumental song, rounding the album off, as had been a characteristic of the band ever since their second record Verkligen. The white tiger on the cover is a tribute to the band's hometown Eskilstuna: the zoo in town had white tigers as its main attraction.

The CD single contains the B-sides, "Rödljus" and "En helt ny karriär". These two tracks were recorded, produced and mixed by Kent and Heikki Kiviaho, and were later released on the compilation B-sidor 95–00 in 2000.

The album is produced primarily with Swedish producer Stefan Boman, who worked with the band on Du & jag döden from 2005. The lead single, "Gamla Ullevi" / "Skisser för sommaren", was released on 14 June 2010, the same day as the band announced the album details.
