Vibrant TV Network was a multi-platform network that brought previously unseen international programming to mainstream American television audiences. Vibrant TV provided a curated mix of globally produced programming delivered through select cable services, a 24/7 ad-supported live stream, and a subscription-based service video-on-demand (SVOD). The network was headquartered in the Chicago, Illinois area.

Founded by Dan Zifkin of Zephyr Media Group and officially launched in December 2014, the network boasted the motto Turn on the World™. Vibrant TV's programming focused on diversity of content, offering drama, comedy, lifestyle, sports and movies. The network ceased operations on January 31, 2019. [1]

Accessibility

The Vibrant TV VOD package [2] was accessed on desktop and mobile devices through its subscription service. Vibrant TV Network was also available on Xumo, [3] Sling TV, Amazon Fire TV, FlixonTV, Roku, FilmOn, YIP-TV, Vewd and on Panasonic and Sony Smart TV's. The service allowed viewers to watch available episodes of Vibrant TV's stable of content.[ citation needed ] The network was also available on select cable systems, satellite, and OTT services. At least one over-the-air affiliate, KCKS-LD10, also carried the channel.

SonyLIV Indian general entertainment, video on demand service

SonyLIV is an Indian over-the-top freemium streaming platform owned by Sony Pictures Networks India. SonyLIV was introduced in 2013 as the first OTT service in India. As a streaming service, it is carrying content from its local networks, including films, television series, live sports matches and Original Programming, and also featuring content licensed from third-parties in India such as Lionsgate and ITV among others. Since 2020, SonyLIV has taken more of an active role as producer and distributor for both films and television series, and to that end, offers a variety of original programming content through its online library.

WWE Network is a Canadian English language specialty channel programmed by WWE and distributed by Rogers Sports & Media. Its programming consists entirely of the linear feed offered as part of the WWE Network video streaming service.

PlayStation Vue was an American streaming television service that was owned by the Sony Interactive Entertainment subdivision of the Sony Corporation of America division of Sony. Launched with a limited major-market rollout on March 18, 2015, the service – which was structured in the style of a multichannel video programming distributor – combined live TV, on-demand video, and cloud-based DVR to stream television programs, movies, and sporting events directly to a PlayStation console or other supported device – including smart TVs, digital media players and apps – without a subscription to a cable or satellite television provider. Targeting cord cutters, PlayStation Vue was designed to complement subscription video-on-demand services. As of August 26, 2018, the service had approximately 745,000 subscribers. On October 29, 2019, Sony announced PlayStation Vue would be ending service on January 30, 2020, because "the highly competitive Pay TV industry, with expensive content and network deals, has been slower to change than we expected".

Sling TV American streaming television service

Sling TV is an American streaming television service operated by Sling TV LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dish Network. Unveiled on January 5, 2015, at the Consumer Electronics Show, the virtual multichannel video programming distributor aims to complement subscription video on demand services for cord cutters, offering a selection of major cable channels and OTT-originated services that can be streamed through smart TVs, digital media players and apps. The service is available in the United States and Puerto Rico as of 2015.

Buzzr American digital multicast television network

Buzzr is an American digital broadcast television network owned by Fremantle North America, a unit of the Fremantle subsidiary of RTL Group. Comet (TV network) American digital multicast television network

Comet is an American digital broadcast television network owned by the Sinclair Television Group subsidiary of the Sinclair Broadcast Group. The network focuses on science fiction with some supernatural, horror, adventure and fantasy series and films, sourced mainly from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film and television library. In addition, BeIN Sports airs matches from such sports as rugby, auto racing, handball, motorcycle racing, tennis, and volleyball. It is a subsidiary of the Qatari Media Network beIN.

Local Now American subscription television network

Local Now is an American over-the-top internet television service owned by The Weather Group, LLC, a subsidiary of Entertainment Studios. A spinoff of The Weather Channel, Local Now primarily provides a cyclic playlist of weather, news, sports, entertainment and lifestyle segments, incorporating localized content through feeds geared to a user-specified area.
