Vichu Vishwanath is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil language films and serials. He has worked in comedy and supporting roles, often associating with director Sundar C. [1]

Career

Vichu Vishwanath was born in Coimbatore, India and attended RK Sreerangammal Kalvi Nilayam Higher Secondary School in the city. Vichu is married to Hemalatha, and has a daughter, Kokila. [1] He made his acting debut in the film, Sandhana Kaatru (1990) and portrayed a villainous character alongside Sarathkumar and Vijay Krishnaraj. During the making of the film, he became acquainted with Sundar C, who was an assistant director in the film. He then made his first collaboration with director Sundar C in Murai Maman (1996), while also beginning an association with actress Radhika and her production studio. [1] [2]

In 2017, he moved on to work on Sundar C's television studio, Nandini . [3]

It stars Vimal, Shiva, Oviya, Anjali and Santhanam, with music composed by Vijay Ebenezer. It was originally titled Masala Cafe, but was later renamed to Kalakalappu. The film released on 11 May 2012 to positive reviews, and became a commercial success. The film is 25th directorial venture for Sundar. The film was remade in Telugu as Jump Jilani. In 2018, the film had a spiritual successor Kalakalappu 2. The film is loosely based on the 2009 German film Soul Kitchen.

Kalakalappu 2 is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language comedy film written and directed by Sundar C. and produced by Khushbu. It is a spiritual successor to the 2012 film Kalakalappu. The film stars Jiiva, Jai, Shiva, Nikki Galrani and Catherine Tresa.

Thalapathy Dinesh is an Indian action choreographer who works mainly in Tamil cinema. He started his career in the cinema as an extra fighter in Naan Sigappu Manithan and later he became as a stunt master and actor. This film was the first installment in Aranmanai film series. In the film, When a family returns to their hometown to sell their ancestral palace. Aranmanai 4 is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language comedy horror film directed by Sundar C., who co-wrote the film with Venkatt Ragavan and S. B. Ramadass. It is produced by Khushbu Sundar and A. C. S. Arun Kumar under Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media (P) Ltd. The film stars Sundar himself, alongside an ensemble cast that includes Tamannaah Bhatia, Raashii Khanna, Santhosh Prathap, Ramachandra Raju, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, K. S. Ravikumar, Jayaprakash, VTV Ganesh, Delhi Ganesh, Rajendran and Singampuli. It is the fourth instalment in Aranmanai film series and a standalone sequel to Aranmanai 3 (2021). The film has music composed by Hiphop Tamizha, cinematography handled by E. Krishnasamy and editing done by Fenny Oliver.
