Gerda Hofstätter Gergerson, nicknamed "G-Force", is an Austrian professional pool player. Hofstätter won the WPA World Nine-ball Championship in 1995. She is a winner at the European Pool Championship on nine occasions, and won the Austrian national Championship seventeen times. Hofstätter is a two-time Hall of Fame inductee being voted into both the Women's Professional Billiard Association and Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fames in the Greatest Players Category. Hofstätter was the Austrian Sportswoman of the Year for Carinthia in 1993. Hofstätter played on the WPBA Tour until her retirement, doing so from 1993 onward.
Jeanette Lee is an American professional pool player. She was nicknamed the Black Widow by her friends because, in spite of her sweet demeanor, she would "eat people alive" when she got to a pool table. Jeanette is an American of Korean descent.

The World Pool Association is the international governing body for pool. It was formed in 1987, and was initially headed by a provisional board of directors consisting of representatives from Japan, the United States, Sweden, and Germany. as of February 2019, the WPA president is Ian Anderson of Australia, and the organization is headquartered in Sydney. It is an associate of the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS), the international umbrella organization that encompasses the major cue sports. It also sanctions rules and events for carom billiards.

Oliver Ortmann is a German professional pool player from Gelsenkirchen. Ortmann is a three-time world champion, winning the 1995 WPA World Nine-ball Championship and both the 2007 and 2010 Straight pool world championships. Ortmann is the second player to win three world championships. With fourteen wins, he is one of the most successful players at the European Pool Championships. Ortmann is the second to Ralf Souquet on the Euro Tour, winning fourteen events. Ortmann was the first player from Europe to win the U.S. Open Straight Pool Championship, in 1989.
Kim Ga-young is a South Korean female professional pool player who plays on the Women's Professional Billiard Association Tour. Her father began teaching her to play three-cushion billiards when she was about twelve years old. After playing three-cushion for about three years, she started playing nine-ball pool and turned pro at the 2003 BCA Open.
Chang Jung-Lin is a Taiwanese 8-ball and Nine-ball pool player. He became WPA World Eight-ball Champion in 2012 and won the silver medal at the 2013 World Games for Nine-ball. Jun-Lin is a former world number 1 in 8-Ball Pool, having done so first after the US Open in 2012.
Han Yu is a Chinese professional pool player. She is a three time WPA World Nine-ball Championship women's champion, winning the event in 2013, 2016 and 2018. Han is also a semi-finalist in three further world championships, in 2017 in the 9-ball event, and 2011 and 2014 in 10-Ball.
Tamara Peeters is a Dutch professional pool player currently residing at Geleen, Netherlands. Peeters reached the semi-finals of the Womens World Pool Billiard Association Masters event in 2017. Peeters twice reached the knockout rounds at the Women's WPA World Nine-ball Championship in both 2009 and 2010, losing in the last 32.
The Women's Professional Billiard Association Tour is a reoccouring series of professional ladies' pool tournaments first held in 1992. Events on the tour are played under the 9-Ball rules. Events in the Tour feature the women's U.S. Open Nine-ball Championship, the WPBA Masters and the WPBA Tour Championship. The series runs a world ranking format, based on the results of the prior 6 events. The events are run by the Women's Professional Billiard Association (WPBA).
Vivian Villarreal is a former professional American pool player. She was the World Pool Association world number one women's player for five years, and has twice been runner up in the WPA World Nine-ball Championship.
Julie Kelly is a professional pool, and former snooker, player. She won the WPA nine-ball world championship in 2000.
Fu Xiaofang is a Chinese professional pool player. Fu is best known for winning the 2010 WPA World Nine-ball Championship.
Sarah Ellerby is an English former professional pool player. She began playing in England, before moving to the United States to play in World Pool Association events. In total, Ellerby has won over 100 championships, including the 1997 European Eight-ball Championship. She retired in 2008 whilst ranked number one in the world in eight-ball.
