Vicky Glover is a former boxer who was the first woman to represent Scotland in boxing at a Commonwealth Games.
Glover had a difficult childhood. At the age of ten, her father enrolled her into a boxing club to help her overcome her difficulties through the discipline and routine that boxing provided. [2] She was involved with community services from a young age; such as Social Workers and Children’s Hearing Systems to encourage her to become engaged with her schooling and prevent any further negative behaviours that Glover described as “hassle.” [2]
Glover won the British women's under 54 kg youth championship in April 2017 defeating England's Maisey Rose Courtney in the final. [3] In July 2017 she pleaded guilty to assault after attacking two men with a baseball bat and was ordered to complete 200 hours of community work within nine months and placed under 18 months of supervision. [4] Later in 2017 she was the first female boxer to be selected to represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Games when she was named in the team for the 2018 edition in Australia. [5] Competing at the event in April 2018 she lost in the quarter-finals to Canada's Sabrina Aubin. [6] She represented Scotland at the 2018 Women’s World Championship going out in the preliminaries to Germany's Ornella Wahner. [7] Glover made further Scottish boxing history in March 2019 when she won a bronze medal in the featherweight category at the European Boxing Confederation Under-22 championships in Russia losing in the semi-finals to England's Ellie Scotney by unanimous decision. In 2023 Glover was convicted of assault stemming from a dispute over drugs and was sentenced to a five month electronic tagging order confining her to her home between 7pm and 7am each day. [9]
Chris Clarke is a former professional boxer from Canada, who won the Canadian and Commonwealth Welterweight championship titles and also became the Canadian Middleweight champion. As an amateur boxer, Clarke won the gold medal in the men's lightweight division at the 1975 Pan American Games. A year later he represented his native country at the 1976 Summer Olympics, where he was defeated in the second round.
Savannah Rose Marshall is a British professional boxer. She has held world championships in two weight classes: the undisputed and Ring magazine female super-middleweight title since 2023; and the World Boxing Organization (WBO) female middleweight title from 2020 to 2022. As an amateur, she became the first British female world champion after securing gold at the 2012 World Championships. She has been nicknamed as the 'Silent Assassin' due to a combination of her shyness and her multiple knockout wins. As of October 2022, she was ranked the world's second best active female middleweight by BoxRec and by The Ring.
Lauren Louise Price is a Welsh professional boxer, former amateur boxer and former kickboxer and footballer. She has held the WBA, IBO, and Ring female welterweight World titles since 11 May 2024. She was the first-ever female British professional boxing champion having won the welterweight title on 6 May 2023 and holding it until vacating the belt when she became World champion. While representing Wales in the amateur sport she won a bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, becoming the first Welsh woman to win a Commonwealth Games boxing medal. Four years later she surpassed this achievement by winning gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, followed by a gold at the 2019 World Championships. While representing Great Britain, she won gold medals at the 2019 European Games and 2020 Summer Olympics.
Virginia "Ginny" Fuchs is an American professional boxer who as an amateur represented her country in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics as well as winning a bronze medal at the 2018 World Championships and a silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games.

Skye Brittany Nicolson is an Australian professional boxer. As an amateur, she competed in the featherweight event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, winning the gold medal. Nicolson competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics. In her first bout in the women's Feather (54–57 kg) preliminaries she beat Im Ae-ji from Republic of Korea on points. She was beaten in the quarterfinals by Kariss Artingstall from Great Britain.

She is a former world champion in two weight classes, including the former undisputed light-welterweight champion, having held the WBC title between 2020 and 2023; the IBF and Ring magazine titles between 2021 and 2023 ; and the WBA and WBO titles between November 2022 and 2023. She previously held the IBO female lightweight title from 2017 to 2019 and light-welterweight title from 2022 to 2023.

Thambu Nelka Shiromala also known as Nelka Shiromala Thampu is a Sri Lankan police officer, boxing referee and former national boxer. Nelka is widely regarded as the first Sri Lankan female boxing referee. She has officiated in several local and international boxing matches as referee. She was also selected by the International Olympic Committee as one of the referees for the boxing competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She is regarded as one of the early pioneers of the women's boxing in Sri Lanka when it was originally introduced in the country in 2000s. She is nicknamed as "queen of the ring" in the boxing arena.
