Victoria Elizabeth Horner (born 11 May 1976) is a female English former competitive swimmer.
She represented Great Britain in the Olympic Games and European championships. She won a bronze medal in the 4×200-metre freestyle relay at the 1995 European Aquatics Championships. Her team finished 10th in the same event at the 1996 Summer Olympics. [1] She also won a silver medal in the 400-metre freestyle at the European Short Course Swimming Championships 1998. [2] She represented England at the 1994 Commonwealth Games in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada [3] [4] and won a silver medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in the 400-metre freestyle. She is a three-times winner of the British Championship in 400-metre freestyle (1997, 1998 and 2000). [6] [7] [8]
Her husband, Rob Hayles, is a retired Olympic sprint cyclist. [1] They have a daughter, born 23 January 2006. [9]
Kieren John Perkins is an Australian former freestyle swimmer. He specialised in the 1500-metre freestyle and won successive Olympic gold medals in this event in the 1990s. He won his first at the 1992 Olympics which he won in world record time and then at the 1996 Olympics when he defended his title. In total he won four Olympic medals.
Sharron Elizabeth Davies, is an English former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in the Olympics and European championships and competed for England in the Commonwealth Games. Natalie du Toit OIG MBE is a South African swimmer. She is best known for the gold medals she won at the 2004 Paralympic Games as well as the Commonwealth Games. She was one of two Paralympians to compete at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing; the other being table tennis player Natalia Partyka. Du Toit became the third amputee ever to qualify for the Olympics, where she placed 16th in the 10km swim.

Sarah Lucy Hardcastle, also known by her married name Sarah Thomas, is a British former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in the Olympics, world championships and European championships, and swam for England in the Commonwealth Games. She specialised in the 400- and 800-metre freestyle, and also competed in medley races. Hardcastle won multiple major championship medals over the course of her career, including individual silver and bronze medals at the 1984 Summer Olympics at the age of 15 and two individual gold medals at the 1986 Commonwealth Games. She retired from the sport in 1986 but returned in 1993, winning gold at the World Short Course Championships for the 800-metre freestyle in 1995 and reaching the final of the same event at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

Ellie Victoria Cole, is an Australian retired Paralympic swimmer and wheelchair basketball player. After having her leg amputated due to cancer, she trained in swimming as part of her rehabilitation program and progressed more rapidly than instructors had predicted. She began competitive swimming in 2003 and first competed internationally at the 2006 IPC Swimming World Championships, where she won a silver medal. Since then, she has won medals in the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships, the Commonwealth Games, the Paralympic Games, the IPC Swimming World Championships, and various national championships.
