Victor Ghoshe is an Indian author [1] who has written novels and collection of stories primarily in the thriller and supernatural genres. [2] [3] As of October 2024, he has written two novels [4] in English and four books containing collections of stories which are in Bengali. [5] [6]
Victor Ghoshe began his writing career with his debut English novel, The Job Charnock Riddle, published in 2016. [7] [8] His second novel, Tomb of God, followed in 2021 and is available in the Kerala State Central Library. [9] The author's latest book, Paranormal 2 was launched in 2023. [10]
Ghoshe has contributed to various government-sponsored social and behavior change (SBC) campaigns in India. [11] [12] He was involved with an SBC campaign for the Government of Bihar's RMNCH+A unit, which was highlighted at HSR2016. [13]
In rural Uttar Pradesh, Ghoshe contributed to campaigns for the Diarrhea Alleviation through Zinc and ORS project (DAZT), which focused on educating caregivers about diarrhea treatment practices. The purpose of the project was to make caregivers adopt the usage of ORS and Zinc together in order to treat Diarrhea. [14]
Ghosh has worked with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as a photographer and videographer and contributed to the videography of the India part of the 2020 Goalkeepers report. [15]

Kolkata, also known as Calcutta, is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of West Bengal. Job Charnock was an English administrator with the East India Company. He is widely regarded by historians as the founder of the city of Calcutta ; however, this view was challenged in court, and in 2003 the Calcutta High Court ruled that he ought not to be regarded as the founder.

He is a member of the Bangla Sangeet Academy.

In Bengal, ghosts are believed to be the unsatisfied spirits of human beings who cannot find peace after death or the souls of people who died in unnatural or abnormal circumstances like murders, suicides or accidents. Non-human animals can also turn into ghosts after their death. But they are often associated with good luck and wealth in Bangladesh.
Gautam Bhattacharya is an Indian journalist and author. He began his career as a sports journalist. Subsequently, he expanded his field of work to become a published author, a cricket commentator on Star Sports, host of online shows, and anchor of national and international shows. He was the associate editor of Ananda Bazar Patrika in India. He handled both sports and entertainment for the publication. He joined Ananda Bazar Patrika in January 1983 as a trainee journalist with The Telegraph (Kolkata). From February 2017 to March 2022, Bhattacharya was the joint editor of the Bengali-language daily Sangbad Pratidin. From April 2022, for a brief period of 7 months, Bhattacharya was the editor of Zee 24 Ghanta, one of eastern India's most renowned TV channels. Since early 2023 he is working as the Joint Editor of Kolkata TV ,a distinguished News Television channel of the state of West Bengal.
Gaurav Chakrabarty is an Indian Bengali-language film and television actor best known for his portrayal of the character Prodipto Lahiri in the Bengali musical television series Gaaner Oparey that aired on Star Jalsha from 28 June 2010 to 16 April 2011. Chakrabarty is also known for acting in the Bengali classic periodic thriller television series Byomkesh (2014-2015), where he played the role of iconic Bengali detective Byomkesh Bakshi. He hails from a family which has had a legacy of association with the Bengali cultural arena, starting from Jochhon Dastidar and Chandra Dastidar, Bijon Bhattacharya, Jagadish Chandra Chakrabarty and Monika Chakrabarty, and his parents Sabyasachi Chakrabarty and Mithu Chakrabarty. He debuted on the big screen Kaushik Ganguly's Rang Milanti one of the most appreciated films of 2011.

St. John's Church, originally a cathedral, was among the first public buildings erected by the East India Company after Kolkata (Calcutta) became the effective capital of British India. It is located at the North-Western corner of Raj Bhavan, and served as the Anglican Cathedral of Calcutta till 1847, when the see was transferred to St. Paul's Cathedral. Construction of the building, modelled on St Martin-in-the-Fields of London, started in 1784, with Rs 30,000 raised through a public lottery, and was completed in 1787. The land the church stands on was gifted by Maharaja Nabo Kishen Bahadur of Sobhabazar. It is the third oldest church in the city, next to the Armenian Church of the Holy Nazareth and the Old Mission Church.
