VietAbroader is a non-profit, student-run organization devoted to the sustainable development of Vietnam. It aims its message at Vietnamese youth. The group was founded in February 2004 by students from various Ivy League schools. [1]

Overseas Vietnamese refers to Vietnamese people who live outside Vietnam. There are approximately 4.5 million overseas Vietnamese, the largest community of whom live in the United States. The oldest wave of overseas Vietnamese left Vietnam as economic and political refugees after the 1975 fall of Saigon and the North Vietnamese annexation of South Vietnam.
Phan Bội Châu, born Phan Văn San, courtesy name Hải Thụ, was a pioneer of Vietnamese 20th century nationalism. In 1903, he formed a revolutionary organization called Duy Tân Hội. From 1905 to 1908, he lived in Japan where he wrote political tracts calling for the independence of Vietnam from French colonial rule. After being forced to leave Japan, he moved to China where he was influenced by Sun Yat-sen. He formed a new group called Việt Nam Quang Phục Hội, modeled after Sun Yat-sen's republican party. In 1925, French agents seized him in Shanghai. He was convicted of treason and spent the rest of his life under house arrest in Huế.
The French-American School of New York is an international and bilingual independent school located in suburban Westchester County, New York. Since its founding in 1980, FASNY has evolved from a three-teacher, 17-student nursery to a school on three campuses that educates more than 780 students per year. FASNY offers an international and bilingual education to a population of local American families, French expatriates, French-American families, and international families representing more than 50 nationalities. The school offers education from Nursery to 12th grade at three campuses in Larchmont and Mamaroneck, New York. FASNY is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools, the International Baccalaureate Organization, and the French Ministry of Education. Sixty-nine percent of students are of French origin, 21% are American, and 10% hail from countries in the francophone world.
The Bidong Island is one square kilometre in area and is situated off the coast of Terengganu, Malaysia in the South China Sea. Bidong Island is accessible from the coastal town of Merang in Setiu district. From 1978 until 2005 Bidong Island was a refugee camp with a population reaching at its peak as many as 40,000 Vietnamese refugees. A total of about 250,000 refugees were residents of the camp during the period of its operation. Most stayed on Bidong a few months or longer and were resettled abroad in third countries, especially the United States.
Hanoi-Amsterdam High School is one of the four regional magnet schools in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is regarded as one of the most prestigious and highly ranked academically selective high schools in Vietnam, from Hanoi.
An International Vietnamese Youth Conference is organized every two or three years by the Len Duong International Vietnamese Youth Network, drawing Vietnamese youths from around the world to gather and discuss topics relating to Vietnamese youths and to network with each other. These conferences are attended by between 200 and 600 young people from more than 15 countries. The Vietnamese spelling of the conference is "Đại Hội Thanh Niên Sinh Viên Việt Nam Thế Giới," and is therefore also abbreviated and nicknamed "DH" (conf.), followed by the conference number, such as "DH1" for the first conference, "DH2" for the second, and so on.
The Union of North American Vietnamese Student Associations (UNAVSA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community-based organization founded in 2004 as a means for Vietnamese organizations from across North America to network, share common resources, collaborate with one another to build strong sustainable communities, and engage in philanthropic work.

Vietnam Maritime University is a university in Haiphong operated by the Ministry of Transport. The university was established on 1 April 1956 as Haiphong Maritime University. As of 2007, this is the only maritime university in Vietnam. The university has over 1000 staffs, of which, 450 are faculty staffs. The university provides undergraduate and graduate education of shipbuilding, maritime navigation, nautical technology. It has a second campus in Vung Tau city.
The High School for Gifted Students, Hanoi National University of Education is a public magnet school in Hanoi, Vietnam. The school was founded in 1966 as a national educational institution to nurture Vietnamese students who excelled at mathematics. HNUE High School is the second oldest magnet high school in Vietnam and one of the seven national-level high schools for the gifted.
Nguyễn Thần Hiến (1856–1914) was a Vietnamese scholar-gentry anti-colonial revolutionary activist who advocated independence from French colonial rule. He was a contemporary of Phan Bội Châu and Phan Chu Trinh and was regarded as the most prominent southerner of his generation of scholar-gentry activists.

Đông Du was a Vietnamese political movement founded by Phan Bội Châu at the start of the 20th century that encouraged young Vietnamese to go east to Japan to study, in the hope of training a new era of revolutionaries to rise against French colonial rule. Other notable proponents of Dong Du include Phan Chu Trinh and Prince Cường Để. In 1906 there were only 20 students in Japan, but October 1907, there were over 100 students in Japan, more than half from the South.

She is the first Vietnamese beauty pageant titleholder to be chosen to represent the 2 biggest beauty pageants in the world: Miss Universe 2011 and Miss World 2012 and was the strongest representative of Vietnam (2011). Hoang My is considered an icon of healthy lifestyle, and has had success as a model, host, copywriter, and dancer. She consults for beauty pageants, sports projects, NGO organisations and film projects. As a filmmaker, she produces both fiction and documentary features. She speaks Vietnamese and English fluently. Hoang My was one of the 7 main judges of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2017.
The APU International School (APUIS) has been in operation since 2004. APUIS is licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training to provide American education to K-12 students in Vietnam using the California curriculum. Presently the school has two campuses and boarding facilities located in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and one in Da Nang City, Vietnam.
Paris is home to the oldest Overseas Vietnamese community in the Western world and is also one of the largest outside Vietnam. There are an estimated 70,000 people of Vietnamese descent within the city limits of Paris as of 2018, with the greater Île-de-France area home to another estimated 100,000. Both figures make the Paris metropolitan area host to one of the greatest concentrations of Vietnamese outside Vietnam, if not the largest. They contains Vietnamese born- people that living in Paris (France) or French born-citizens of partially or full Vietnamese descent.
Vietnamese people in Poland form one of the ethnic minorities in Poland. The Vietnamese-Polish community is the fourth-largest Vietnamese community in the European Union, after France, Germany, and Czechia, although its numbers are difficult to estimate, with common estimates ranging from 50,000 to 60,000. They are Poland's largest immigrant community whose culture is not European, and are often perceived by the Polish public as being one of the largest, if not the largest, minorities in Poland; the factual verification of that claim is difficult due to lack of precise data. While enjoying economic success and, along with other immigrants, perceived as a competition in the workforce, the Vietnamese community is regarded positively in Poland.
Hungarian-Vietnamese relations are the diplomatic relations between Hungary and Vietnam. Hungary has an embassy in Hanoi. Vietnam has an embassy in Budapest.
