The Vietnam women's national handball team is the national team of Vietnam. It is governed by the Vietnam Handball Federation and takes part in international handball competitions.
Handball is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins.
The European Women's Handball Championship is the official competition for senior women's national handball teams of Europe, and takes place every two years. In addition to crowning the European champions, the tournament also serves as a qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games and World Championship. As of December 2018, the only teams that have ever won the championship are Norway, Denmark, Hungary, Montenegro and France (once).
The Romanian women's national team represents Romania in senior women's international handball and is controlled by the Romanian Handball Federation, the governing body for handball in Romania. It competes in the three major international tournaments; the Olympic Games, the IHF World Championship and the EHF European Championship.
The Croatia national handball team represents Croatia in international men's team handball competitions and friendly matches. The handball team is controlled by the Croatian Handball Federation.
The South Korea national handball team is the national handball team of South Korea and is controlled by the Korea Handball Federation.
The France national handball team is supervised by the French Handball Federation, and represents France in international matches. It is the first handball team to have held all three titles twice, and the only national team in its sport to hold six world titles and a total of eleven medals at the World Men's Handball Championship. With a total of four medals, including two gold in 2008 and 2012, France is also the most successful Handball team at the Summer Olympics. France's men handball team is widely regarded as the finest national team in the history of the sport.
The Austria women's national handball team is the national team of Austria. It is governed by the Austrian Handball Federation and takes part in international team handball competitions.
The China women's national handball team is the national team of People's Republic of China. It is governed by the China Handball Federation and takes part in international handball competitions.
The Qatar national handball team is controlled by the Qatar Handball Association and take part in international handball competitions.
The South Korea women's national handball team is the national team of South Korea. Since 1984 the Korean team has not only participated constantly in Olympic Games but also ranked among the top four nations every time. Korea grabbed the gold medal in 1988 and 1992, won the silver medal in 1984, 1996, 2004 and took bronze medal in 2008. They have earned two World Championship medals so far: In 1995, they also won the World Championship title in Austria/Hungary 1995 World Women's Handball Championship, they came off third to secure the bronze medal at the Croatia in 2003 World Women's Handball Championship. It is a twelve time Asian Champion, the tournament has been won by any other nation only twice.
The Spain women's national handball team is the national team of Spain. It is governed by the Royal Spanish Handball Federation and takes part in international handball competitions.

The 2017 Asian Beach Handball Championship was the 6th edition of the Asian Beach Handball Championship held from 8 to 15 May 2017 at Pattaya, Thailand under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It also acts as the qualification tournament for the 2018 Beach Handball World Championships.
The Southeast Asian Beach Handball Championship is an international beach handball competition contested by national teams from Southeast Asia.
