Bhai Dooj,Bhai Tika,Bhaubeej,Bhai Beej,Bhai Phonta or Bhratri Dwitiya is a festival celebrated by Hindus on the second lunar day of the Shukla Paksha of Kartika,the eighth month of the Vikram Samvat Hindu calendar or the Shalivahana Shaka calendar. J. B. Tularam was a Fiji Indian member of the Legislative Council of Fiji elected from the Eastern Constituency in 1937 by defeating Channa Bhai Patel by 14 votes. The constituency was made up of the provinces of Lomaiviti,Lau,Cakaudrove and Macuata. He was a member of the Council until 1944.

The Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is the lower house of the bicameral legislature of Maharashtra state in western India. It consists of 288 members directly elected from single-seat constituencies. The Assembly meets at Vidhan Bhavan in Mumbai,though the winter session is held in Nagpur. Along with the Maharashtra Legislative Council,it comprises the legislature of Maharashtra. The presiding officer of the Assembly is the Speaker.
