Vijayveer Sidhu (born 21 June 2002) is an Indian sport shooter, supported by OGQ. He won the bronze medal in Men's 25m rapid fire pistol team in the 2022 Asian Games. [1] [2] [3] [4] He bagged an Olympic quota berth for the Paris Olympics in the 25m rapid fire by winning a silver medal at the Asian Olympic Qualifiers on 13 January 2024 at Jakarta. [5]
India was represented at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne by a 270-member strong contingent comprising 183 sportspersons and 77 officials. 2004 Summer Olympics silver medalist Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore was the flag bearer for India.
Ronak Pandit is an Indian sport shooter. He won gold medal in the Men's 25m Standard Pistol (Pairs) with Samaresh Jung at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. He is married to Indian shooter Heena Sidhu and has a daughter named Reyah. He is also the coach of Indian pistol team preparing for Tokyo Olympics.
Pemba Tamang is an Indian sport shooter. He won the gold medal in the Men's 25 metre rapid fire pistol (Pairs) with Vijay Kumar and the silver medal in the Men's 25 metre rapid fire pistol at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
Honorary Captain Vijay Kumar Sharma, AVSM, SM is an Indian sport shooter. He won the silver medal in the individual 25 metre rapid fire pistol event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Kumar hails from Barsar village of Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh and is a retired Subedar Major in the Dogra Regiment Indian Army, who was later promoted to Honorary Captain Rank. Vijay Kumar is supported by the Olympic Gold Quest initiative. He is the only Indian to have won a medal at 25m rapid Fire Pistol. He has been posted at Indian Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU) Mhow since 2003 where he is being coached by the Russian Pavel Smirnov.
Pang Wei is a Chinese Olympic sport shooter. He won a gold medal in the 10 metre air pistol at the 2008 Summer Olympics and a bronze medal in the same event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He also won the 2006 ISSF World Shooting Championships in the same event, at the age of 20.
Rahi Jeevan Sarnobat is a female athlete from India who competes in the 25 metre pistol shooting event. She won her first gold medal at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune, India. She is the first woman to win a gold medal in shooting at the Asian Games for India – she won the gold at the 2018 Jakarta Palembang Asian Games in the women's 25 metre pistol event. She won two gold medals in 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, the first of the two golds in coming in the 25 metre pistol pair event with Anisa Sayyed. She had previously won gold in the 25 metre pistol event at the 2008 Youth Commonwealth Games, which were held in India.
Heena Sidhu is an Indian sport shooter. On 7 April 2014, Sidhu became the first Indian pistol shooter to reach number one in world rankings by the International Shooting Sport Federation. In 2013, Sidhu became the first Indian pistol shooter to win a gold medal in an ISSF World Cup finals when she won the 10-metre air pistol event. In 2014, Sidhu was the World record holder in the 10-metre air pistol event with a final score of 203.8. Sidhu is right handed and is right eye dominant.

Bruce James Quick is an Australian sport shooter. Since 1988, Quick had won a total of forty three medals in the rapid fire, centre fire, standard pistol, 50m pistol and Air pistol at the Oceanian Shooting Championships. He also captured a bronze medal in the rapid fire pistol pairs, along with his partner David Chapman at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India, with a combined score of 1,125 points.
Lajos Pálinkás is a Hungarian sport shooter. He has competed for Hungary in pistol shooting at four Olympics, and has been close to an Olympic medal in 1996. Outside the Olympic career, Palinkas has produced a career tally of four medals in a major international competition, a total of three at numerous meets of the ISSF World Cup series and a bronze under the senior category at the 1989 European Championships.
The 2016 Asian Olympic Shooting Qualifying Tournament was held in New Delhi, India between January 27 and February 3. This tournament was the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, after the 2015 Asian Shooting Championships was stripped of its status after the IOC suspended Kuwait NOC.

Manu Bhaker is an Indian Olympian who competes at shooting, supported by OGQ. She represented India at the 2018 ISSF World Cup and won two gold medals. She is the youngest Indian to win a gold medal at the ISSF World Cup. She won the gold medal in women's 10 m air pistol event at 2018 Commonwealth Games just at the age of 16 in her maiden Commonwealth Games appearance. She won the team gold for India in the women’s 25m pistol team event at the Asian Games, along with Esha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan.
Anish Bhanwala is an Indian pistol shooter, supported by OGQ. He is from Karnal Haryana and competes in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol, 25 meter pistol, and 25 meter standard pistol events. Anish joined the Indian Shooting Team in 2017. He represented India at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, 2018 Asian Games, ISSF Junior World Championship 2017 (Suhl), Commonwealth Shooting Championships 2017 (Brisbane), World Shooting Championships 2018 and numerous ISSF Senior and Junior World Cups and South Asian Games, Kathmandu.
Adarsh Singh is an Indian sport shooter who competes in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol and 10 meter air pistol. He won silver at the ISSF World Cup 2021(New Delhi) in the 25m Rapid Fire Men Team Event. He has also won Gold at South Asian Games 2019 and Bronze at Asian Shooting Championship the same year . Recently he has added a Bronze Medal to his Tally at the Asian Games 2022.
Esha Singh is an Indian amateur shooter from Hyderabad, Telangana state, supported by OGQ. She became the National Champion in the 10m Air Pistol category in 2018 at the age of 13 and created history. she will represent India in the 10m air pistol at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
The 2022 European 25/50 m Events Championships was organised by the European Shooting Confederation and held in Polish city of Wrocław.
Udhayveer Sidhu is an Indian sport shooter who competes in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol, 25 meter pistol, 25 meter standard pistol and 10 meter air pistol. He won a twenty plus international medals representing India. He is in the Indian Shooting Team since 2018. In 2018 ISSF Junior World Cup he won the 25m pistol bronze at the Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany, and the twins, along with Raj Kanwar Singh, claimed the Indian team's historic gold medal in the event with a world record score of 1747. He won two golds in 2018 ISSF World Shooting Championships. In 2019 he won two golds and a bronze in 2019 ISSF Junior World Cup and later at 2019 Asian Shooting Championships in 25 meter standard pistol he won a gold and a silver. In 2021 at 2021 ISSF Junior World Championships he won an individual gold. In 2022 at ISSF Junior World Cup held at Suhl, Germany he won the silver in 25 meter standard pistol open junior mixed team and later at 2022 ISSF World Shooting Championships he won two golds and a bronze.
Rhythm Sangwan is an Indian pistol shooter from Haryana, supported by OGQ. She usually competes in 10m Air Pistol and 25m Pistol. She has won medals in Shooting World Cups and Shooting Championship at junior as well as at senior level.
Vijayveer Singh Sidhu is an Indian sport shooter from Chandigarh. He competes in the 25m rapid fire pistol discipline. He was part of the Indian shooting team at the 2022 Asian Games, Hangzhou, China. He was part of the Indian team that won the 25m rapid fire pistol bronze at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou. He holds the Junior World Record in the 25m standard pistol team event along with his brother Udhayveer Singh and Adarsh.
