Viking Supply Ships is a supply shipping company based in Kristiansand, Norway. Owned by Kistefos it owns four anchor handling tugs, six platform supply vessels and seven barges as well as for anchor handling tugs on order.

The barges are owned by the subsidiary Viking Barges, but are managed by Taubåtkompaniet. VSS also owns SBS Marine that operates six platform supply vessels. Along with Rederi Trans Atlantic Viking Supply Ships owns the joint venture Trans Viking Icebreaking & Offshore that operates icebreakers.

Platform supply vessel Ship type

A platform supply vessel (PSV) is a ship specially designed to supply offshore oil and gas platforms. These ships range from 50 to 100 metres in length and accomplish a variety of tasks. The primary function for most of these vessels is logistic support and transportation of goods, tools, equipment and personnel to and from offshore oil platforms and other offshore structures. CCGS <i>Captain Molly Kool</i>

CCGS Captain Molly Kool is a Canadian Coast Guard converted medium class icebreaker. She was originally built as an icebreaking anchor handling tug Vidar Viking for Trans Viking Icebreaking & Offshore in 2001. The vessel was acquired by the Canadian Coast Guard in August 2018 and was commissioned in May of the next year after refit.

CCGS <i>Jean Goodwill</i>

CCGS Jean Goodwill is an icebreaking anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) being converted to a medium class icebreaker for the Canadian Coast Guard. She was originally built as Balder Viking for Trans Viking Icebreaking & Offshore AS in 2000. The vessel was acquired by the Canadian Coast Guard in 2018 and was initially expected to enter service in late 2019. However, due to delays the conversion of the vessel is now expected to be completed in late 2020.

CCGS <i>Vincent Massey</i>

CCGS Vincent Massey is an icebreaking anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) being converted to a medium class icebreaker for the Canadian Coast Guard. She was originally built as Tor Viking for Trans Viking Icebreaking & Offshore AS in 2000 and has also traded under the name Tor Viking II. The vessel was acquired by the Canadian Coast Guard in 2018 and was initially expected to enter service in summer 2020. However, the conversion work has been delayed and the delivery date is not known as of July 2020.

<i>Finnpusku</i>

Finnpusku is an integrated tug and barge system owned and operated by ESL Shipping, a Finnish shipping company that specializes in bulk cargo transports in the Baltic Sea. The system was developed in the 1980s by Finnlines, another Finnish shipping company that also managed the vessels until 2003, in co-operation with Rautaruukki to transport raw materials to the Raahe Steel Works.
