Vilhelm Mathias Skeel (1746-1817) was a Danish landowner, county official, and miliary officer.

He grew up in Denmark and attended the Sorø Academy and received his Cand.jur. degree in 1765. He served as the County Governor of Stavanger county from 1772 until 1781. [1] From 17 August 1785 to 31 December 1798 he was the county governor of Antvorskov and Korsør counties in Denmark. He also served as the county governor of Sorø and Ringsted counties from 1787 until 1798. [2]

Adam Johan Frederik Poulsen Trampe (1798–1876) was a Dano-Norwegian lawyer and politician. He served as the County Governor of Nordlands amt from 1829 until 1833 and then as the County Governor of Nordre Trondhjems amt from 1833 until 1857.

Valbygård is a manor house and estate located four kilometres northwest of Slagelse, Denmark. Created by Joachim Castenschiold in 1874 from land that had previously belonged to Antvorskov Abbey, the estate was in 1846 acquired by August Willads Bech and has since then remained in the Bech family. The current, Renaissance Revival style main building was built for August Willads Bech in 1855. It was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1996. The estate covers 1,100 hectares of land.

Until January 1, 2007 Slagelse Municipality was a municipality in the former West Zealand County, on the southwestern coast of the island of Zealand, in eastern Denmark. Hans Christoph Diderik Victor von Levetzow (1754-1829) was a Danish noble and government official. He served as the Diocesan Governor in Iceland from 1785 until 1789. He was then transferred to Norway where he served as the Diocesand Governor of Christianssand stiftamt (and simultaneously as the County Governor of Nedenæs amt from 1789 until 1800. He was then sent to be the County Governor of Husum and Bredstedt counties in Denmark from 1800 until 1826. From 1826 until his death in 1829, he was the administrator of the County of Rantzau in Holstein.

Henrik Adeler (1660-1718) was a Norwegian civil servant and politician. He served as the County Governor in Bratsberg amt from 1692 until 1710. Then he served as the Diocesan Governor of Christianssand stiftamt from 1711 until his death in 1718. During his time in Christianssand, he also served as County Governor of one of the subordinate counties: Nedenæs amt. During his time as diocesan governor in Christiansand, he came into bitter conflict with the Bishop of Christianssand, Jens Bircherod. The bishop sent a complaint against him to the king in 1712. The complaint led to a sharp reprimand for both, but especially towards Adeler, directly from the king.
