Villeneuve VD railway station (French : Gare de Villeneuve VD) is a railway station in the municipality of Villeneuve, in the Swiss canton of Vaud. It is an intermediate stop on the standard gauge Simplon line of Swiss Federal Railways. [1] The station is one city block east of the Villeneuve ferry terminal, with service to various destinations on Lake Geneva.

The R2 is a railway service of RER Vaud that provides hourly service between Grandson and Lausanne in the Swiss canton of Vaud. On weekdays, the line also runs between Lausanne and Cully. Swiss Federal Railways, the national railway company of Switzerland, operates the service. Prior to the December 2022 timetable change, the S5 provided a similar service between Grandson and Lausanne, continuing to Aigle. The service was previously known as the S2.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">R3 (RER Vaud)</span>

The R3 is a railway service of RER Vaud that provides hourly service between Vallorbe and Aigle in the Swiss canton of Vaud. A limited number of trains continue to St-Maurice. Swiss Federal Railways, the national railway company of Switzerland, operates the service. The service was previously known as the S3.
