Vincent J. Zellinger was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Biography

Zellinger was born on February 10, 1901 in what later became the Republic of Czechoslovakia. He took military training at Camp Custer, Michigan in 1926. [1] He later moved to Phillips, Wisconsin. He died on May 5, 1966. [2]

Career

Zellinger was first elected to the Assembly in 1946. Additionally, he was Clerk of Phillips and was town clerk. Zellinger also served on the school board. He was a Republican. [3] [4]

130th Ohio General Assembly

The One Hundred Thirtieth Ohio General Assembly was a meeting of the Ohio state legislature, composed of the Ohio State Senate and the Ohio House of Representatives. It convened in Columbus, Ohio on January 7, 2013 and adjourned December 30, 2014. This General Assembly coincided with the last two years of John Kasich's first term as Ohio Governor. The apportionment of legislative districts was based on the 2010 United States Census and 2011 redistricting. Both the Ohio Senate and Ohio House of Representatives were retained by the Ohio Republican Party.

Peter A. Hemmy was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Charles E. Nelson was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1948. He was a Republican. He graduated from University of Wisconsin. Nelson served on the Superior, Wisconsin common council, the Douglas County, Wisconsin Board of Supervisors, and clerk of the Douglas County, Wisconsin Circuit Court. Nelson died on February 7, 1966 in Superior, Wisconsin.

J. Riley Stone was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. He attended high school in Reedsburg, Wisconsin before graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Stone later served in World War I. From 1945 to 1949, he was Sheriff of Sauk County, Wisconsin.

The legislature re-convened in special session from May 15, 1861, to May 27, 1861, at the request of Wisconsin Governor Alexander Randall, to approve funding for a brigade of volunteers for the American Civil War.
